Grateful for the light you shine. May we all have the courage to face what needs healing thatโs right in front of us, and in doing so, restore sanity and return to love, together.
MW, Thank you for the Christmas Prayer...Remembering so many Christmases with you, many places, and knowing we could always access the miracle of Christmas with your prayers....
Thank-you for this Christmas Day prayer. I do hope many of your talks and prayers in the coming year will not only include our path to miracles but that prayers are not enough...if we have the means and health we must act. In order to heal this world, like the brave and courageous people in the 30s and 40s did and in all of history, we must have our voices heard, peaceful protests, sacred activism as this is the only way peace will reign. Just prayers alone will not stop Putin or Trump from their depravity. We need to be the vessel for miracles and maintain the right mindset and we must act. action sacred action not hateful action. I fear too much of this generation is praying and hoping for peace. The forces that be will require more than our peaceful thoughts. Thank-you.
I see lots of people all over America standing up bravely to counter the challenges we face. Having run for President, I certainly don't need reminding that we have to take action! Boy, did I take action. But I always find it odd that when someone suggests political activism, no one ever says, "Well that won't be enough, we have to pray too!" To me, it's both/and. And I think many people realize that. Today's most powerful activism is holistic, whole person. Both inner change and outer change. As I always say, "Pray in the morning, kick ass in the afternoon!"
We, the people, must evolve to walk a mystic, spiritual path, with practical, wise, compassionate, political feet. We are the hands, and feet, and eyes of God, in sacred action in this world. Shambhala souls arise, and act!
