Rest in peace Brian. “God only knows” what is next for you in the spirit world but hopefully you’re spreading the “good vibrations” there too right now. You will be missed but remembered fondly 🙏

RIP Brian. Pet Sounds soothed my soul. Getting me through many hard difficult times. As I experienced mental health issues much like Brian. Marianne, you might enjoy another of his heart felt songs, "Love and Mercy". Both his version, and the Boys Choir version at the Kennedy Center honoring him in 2007 I believe. Tears will flow. Dianna Ross was also being feted, and she sat next to him. Her face told us all what we already knew, most if not all his peers loved him deeply. Very moving performance. Today we need all the Love and Mercy we can manifest. Love you Brian!

Had a bit of a tortured life at times, apparently. If when you die you experience your life backwards, feeling the effects of your actions on other while you were here, imagine the joy he must be feeling now. This spirit deserves that.

I was about 6 years old when my older sisters started playing The Beach Boys 45’s non stop. Their songs were and still are some of the defining music of that particular era. I love them to this day and wished we all could be California Girls. Thank you for the beautiful music and memories, Brian 🙏🏼

Brian Wilson taught us the simplest heresy of all: that joy itself is sacred.

Not the joy after the struggle. The joy in the middle of it.

A surfboard became a pulpit. A harmony became a sacrament.

And now the man who heard choirs where others heard waves is off to join one.

God only knows what we’d be without him.
