We’ve been talking about the development of an integrative politics: healing society on the level of body, mind and spirit.
Body, obviously, means traditional political activism. Mind means reclaiming the principles of democracy and freedom, which we have touched on in Classed 1 and 2.
Today we will address the spiritual. We will do, among other things guided meditations for healing the ruptured relationships that plague us - between us and each other, between us and other nations, and between us and the earth. In A Course in Miracles, it says “God does not give you victory in battle. He lifts you above the battlefield.”
How does that apply to the dangerous polarization now threatening us? Through prayer and meditation, we enter the field of consciousness through which such repair work automatically occurs.
I hope you’re feeling empowered and encouraged in your spiritual and political journey. All of us can participate in a collective rising up of consciousness, in the presence of which all else will fall.
