Yes, actually. ACIM absoultely transforms our lives and I wanted to reflect that in my music. I write my songs when I'm in that space after connecting through meditation. My first album, "Acoustic Remedy," includes three songs featuring Marianne which incorporate soundbytes from her recorded lecture material in unique ways. You can find it on your favorite streaming and downloading platforms and there are videos on YouTube. We released it a while ago but I think it held up beautifully. The song "Closer than You Think" includes the most beautiful prayer about relationships I have ever heard. It had such an impact on my that I included the entire prayer by Marianne in the song. That prayer taught me more about relationships than anything else ever has- not just romantic ones. And much of the text of ACIM is centered around relationships. As Marianne says the prayer one is guided into a beautiful way of loving without demanding anything from the other person-of honoring and accepting the person and trusting that the relationship will unfold in the way that is best for all involved. Marianne, you are such a breath of fresh air in our crazy world. Your name came up this morning in my class at MIU on Consciousness and Human Potential while we were talking about the Benefits of TM and its Christian counterpart Centering Prayer. Just wanted you to know you’re making a big difference in many lives.
Very good, as always. However, there is another level: in our evolutionary time, helping other people grow wings.
Or, less metaphorically, introducing people to tools they can use to resolve their own emotional triggers. And, at another level, conducting structured conversations that enable people to come to grips with the reality of our existential emergency (climate change +…), and the profound systemic changes necessary to stop making things worse… and indeed create conditions of well-being for coming generations.
I call people who do this ‘evolutionary catalysts’. Those of us who have been on our own spiritual or psychological journey would do well to become leaders in our own right, within our own sphere of influence, however modest..

to two greats, a grandmother to 8, and mother to 3. Obviously I adore kids of all ages, and so happy to learn of their central position in your life and your campaign. I know you will win, and so do the millions of people who stand beside you, and behind you You're going to be a magnificent president!
So well written!!!! I love that!!!! Today I read the suicide note a dear friend's family member showed me and all I could think was this was such a huge learning moment. This person who took their life could only focus on that pain (that soup - even referring to the govt.!!). They had a beautiful home, lived in a beautiful country, had the most special kids. I don't blame him - I blame our collective thinking - lets help each other, be kind for goodness sake - smile at each other - connect. Can't we start to see each other differently. This is a bright articulate person who would ultimately in this lifetime have evolved into a great soul, a sensitive soul. People in pain hurt other people whether intentional or not - lets try to evolve out of this painful soup - agreed Marianne!!!! As always!!!!!! But especially today!!!
Some of us were allowing “wings to grow” prior to this point in time.
What really helps is stepping back from all that is happening in the world. And taking a much “bigger picture look”. Because focussing too closely can be so overwhelming for many.
Realizing too that we really are at the mercy of letting life flow even when seeing someone in emotional pain. And in many cases the only real difference made was blessing people with love and sharing compassion in even small ways.
Just the kind of supportive message we all need to hear. Sometimes it seems that all the work we have done to open up to the grace of the universe and practice love for all that is has gotten us nowhere. We need to hear this. Thank you, Marianne, for another booster to help us eradicate fear and embrace only love so that we can grow our wings.
