I have read your article today Ms Marianne and I would boldly say that in terms of our supremisist behavior since the beginning of the colonizers stepping their greedy feet on this land. THIS is a manifestation of exactly who we are and who we have been to the rest of the world. This is the moment that we see this filth as it is and how it is even self loathing to the point of murdering their own Good and Preti children. The viciousness you very well are aware of in your mastery of us politics is EXACTLY who we are🤬. I had high hopes that a morally intact person like yourself could help us dismantle the war machine but no ma’am. They would not even allow you to step into the Democratic Convention as a legit presidential candidate. On the contrary this IS the face of the american people to the world. Because the moral and ethical force of one Good and one Preti has yet to form a flood of love to overtake this depraved hate and greed. We are infected by it. Let’s join with the native peoples everywhere and reclaim what was their’s from the beginning of “the states”
Vivian, I think we can learn a lot from the First Nation's peoples. I read "Neither Wolf Nor Dog," and I cried realizing the loss of their great help that we need now from their ancient teachings and experiences.
Rebecca, It is one of the most influential books of my lifetime. It is written by Kent Nerbern from Minnesota. He also wrote the well known book "Letters to My Son." Google his Wikipedia entry for more information. You will not regret reading his books that promote a more profound way of living life! Joan
Nope definitely not poor. Anyone ashamed of their rich European and UK heritage should seek help - we are pioneers, conquerors and inventors, we created civilised society. I will never apologise for my Viking, Russian, French aristocratic and British blood.
Yes, lets be decent. As chapter 32 in ACIM teaches, "I have invented the world I see." Fortunately, chapter 42 says, "God is my strength. Vision is his gift." Hopefully with God's help we will all see the true Love in each of us. Lets pray for a miracle.
People reading this are decent. No more half-praise/half-attacks, like when you've been running for things. So, what to do with this band of patriots who have no organization with which to wield any power? I'd suggested you make the Beloved Community into a sign-up for many millions to be able to become a force! Since you feel you'd need a mandate calling for you to do that, I'm planting that idea here in your comments.
As I see moves we could make, you frequently are the authority I quote. I've got two of your new videos in my Substack from yesterday, where maybe it's just you and me in this loveboat, but I'm all in for getting out of it myself and leaving you leading us!!!!
Suzanne Taylor, you are planting good seeds here. I see it relating to a branding of 'Beloved Community' --becoming the peoples lobbying group lead by MW. I'll join! Plus, the major push of a peoples lobby should be the reforms needed to make our country even greater for 'the people'. This would essentially be MW's platform from when she ran for '24. Joan
Marianne is understandably reluctant to declare for that. But the worse things get, the better she gets as THE voice, making the most sense and having the most heart. I call her our world teacher, and wonder how we could draft her to call the Beloved Community into tangible existence as a coalition with the power to get us on a life-giving track.
Well, let's wish she sees this post and thinks more about the impact she can have with our support--that would be thousands of folks! Also, let's keep mentioning it in case she misses seeing the notion. Joan
Well, we're starting the conversation. Anyone else within this comments group wishing to draft MW to lead a peoples lobby for the common good? I can understand her reluctance after enduring the smears running for political office. However, I think the people are ripe to have someone with her humanitarian spirit lead us forward together! I think it's a moment in American history to defy the status quo and try a different approach not tied to a political party but to basic human principles of decency, freedom and equality for all.
If someone has committed the misdemeanor of overstaying a visa, the way most people become illegal, why do they need to even have a detainment center to hold them? Even if they are going to deport them back to their original country, there is no reason for them to be held as if they are a violent criminal who has to be kept off the streets for our safety. This is not a crime that requires incarceration. This is a slush fund to enrich an industry that should be legally banned. Private prisons should not even exist, because it creates a profit motivation for denying people of their Constitutional rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Due process means they need to prove they have a reason to arrest anyone, and it applies to every single person in this country, legal or illegal. There is no need for any of this. There is a lawful and orderly way to remove people if they actually need to be removed. This is racist. Nobody can now deny Trump's racism or the Republians in Congress who share it, since less than a half dozen of them even spoke out against the racist meme Trump finally got around to admitting he had posted, denying there was anything wrong with it and saying something about how it referred to the Lion King. The only character he would be in that movie is Scar, but there was only a mandrill in that film, so the racism in that post cannot be denied. To not remove him immediately after he proved his unfitness for office by posting that, shows they all agree with him and are complicit. None of them should be allowed to run for office ever again, they are not doing their job. Every day Trump remains in office, they are violating their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.
Bondi is horrible. One of my take aways, she said so much when she answered a question by citing the current Dow standing. What's good for the Dow is good for the country. Yeah, right!
Marianne, I am for decency. But did you watch members of the U.S. House and AG Pam Bondi during the hearing today about her work and the DOJ? It was astounding!
I have never seen such a lack of decorum. I came from it dismayed as Bondi's body language told me all I needed to know beyond her words: she's totally confident with the regime's plans it seems--unstoppable. Her behavior says a lot. It took me awhile to recover from watching the emotional spectacle.
I live in Minnesota, where ICE is patrolling my small town's streets--having detained at least four immigrants to date. It's a gut wrenching time but somehow I knew we would get to this point. After watching Bondi, I wonder whether or not the U.S. Senate will even modify the agents' behavior and policies--both ICE and CBP law enforcement agents, as part of their negotiations for funding Homeland Security. I am not optimistic. If there's no real change in accountability for these militarized-style forces we will become a paramilitary-style police state.
Marianne, what can we DO about this? How do we even know where these concentration camps are or are planned to be? What legal action is being taken to allow investigation? Couldn't we organize to have people show up at these places and demand to see what the situation is there? Create some awareness among the "Good Americans" that this is how the holocaust started in Germany? Surely there must be a way to stop this...
There is a lot going on, and I urge you to look online to follow it. Yes, ACLU and others are filing lawsuits, etc. I hope you're following my daily stories on Instagram. See what's happening in your community.
Ugh Marianne it is a challenge so hard to be decent when you see the court proceedings from yesterday. Complete circus, yet you are right, I’ll post it and read it to my children, this is a horrific time and I want them to know better.
Thank you, Marriane, for speakign truth. “No man is above the law” was a foundational principle in the United States, but apparently it’s not anymore."
Thank you, Ms Williamson, for this factual rendering and straight from the heart perspective.
We have the capacity, i.e., each of us as humans has the capacity for choosing common sense decency and mutual respect and mutual dignity to form our choices and actions, to assess the consequences and amend and improve these.
As you note, "The evil of Epstein’s world was how children were treated. The evil of the ICE detainment camps is that children - and adults! - are treated just as terribly there. I hope more and more Americans will begin to register both with equal horror."
Not either, nor many of the other abuses chosen and or supported by the Trump et al regime bear any characteristics of either human decency or human dignity.
Each of us has the capacities to oppose these abuses and to publicly express [many ways, constitutionally protected and understandable] support for the constitutional protections due to people here in America. While we are at it and moving toward constitutional governance, we can express gratitude for the many and diverse ordinary 'saints' we encounter on the way and from whom we learn some things to emulate.
To recover and use human decency is a priority; to recover a sense of everyone's dignity is also a priority. Those are common human characteristics, and people of any age make this plain and vitally important to us.
Actually, it's the oligarchy owning them that has failed us. We have lost some great journalist and I say this as a J-shool grad and former newspaper reporter--I advocate for independent journalism these days.
They're guilty of trump being nak*ed to look at girls regardless of pants not legal not kind Go to prison Marrianne spamming nonsense no job so trumps have more time on pelvis being hateful 💉🗑️

Colonisers??? You mean conquerors. I’m proud of my heritage. We made countries like England, the US, Canada and Australia great.
Oh, poor Brigit.......
Nope definitely not poor. Anyone ashamed of their rich European and UK heritage should seek help - we are pioneers, conquerors and inventors, we created civilised society. I will never apologise for my Viking, Russian, French aristocratic and British blood.

We must be the miracle!
Yes!
God is knowledge. The Holy Spirit gives us vision to understand the knowledge of God.
We need divine wisdom so badly!!!

A way to shift the Zeitgeist
We need a plan

The "Beloved Community," needs to come to pass by any means possible.
AsI understand it, MLK left us a beautiful blue print, a construct which needs to be built -a society based on love.

She's said she'd have to be drafted. I'd be up for trying to get that to happen. It could start with a conversation among a few people.
Well, we're starting the conversation. Anyone else within this comments group wishing to draft MW to lead a peoples lobby for the common good? Jean, try telling your story to AG Pam Bondi! Did you see her hearing today? I am still speechless from it.
Bondi is horrible. One of my take aways, she said so much when she answered a question by citing the current Dow standing. What's good for the Dow is good for the country. Yeah, right!
We need to go further than simply removing Trump. We need a "New Deal," level make over. I pray we can somehow pull that off.
Marianne, I am for decency. But did you watch members of the U.S. House and AG Pam Bondi during the hearing today about her work and the DOJ? It was astounding!

It really is scary, Joan.
There is no excuse for deliberate cruelty. Never ever.
Sadly, this is what's happening on Earth--evolution is needed.

Unbelievably sad.
Love to you and your enduring good work.
Brilliantly formulated. You are one of the most valuable voices that I have ever known.
Thank you so much
I would like to share a discovery regarding how we can make a new beginning with new language. iamda4us@gmail.com
