I am Assyrian and we speak Aramaic. George Lamsa did a beautiful translation directly from our language which Jesus spoke. Totally worth the read. Roman Catholic and Greek midinterpretations.
Oh how interesting!!! We hear how the bible was originally written in Aramaic, and when Jesus’s prayer was shared in social media, the words were different from what we’ve known but also was more clear and beautiful!! That made we wonder what else could we be missing in translation. I wish I knew Aramaic. Blessings to you!!
