Dear cynthia and marianne. I red an article in my dutch newspaper two weeks ago that a silent revolution is going on in the netherlands in Europe. People are uniting and cooperating. Away from the violence and agressive noise. Away from the popular politics. Away from the multinationals, the big money. They are uiting and cooperating under the flagrante of Meentcoop.
Even more Amsterdam wants to be the European captal of cooperation by having 35 % of the economy being in cooperations run by citizens of Amsterdam who share theire profit. Away from stakeholders who run away from companies anywhere they can to just earn a bit or a lot more here and there.
That s just humanism these cooperations. There are 4000 cooperations in the netherlands now. But it gets better. In the world according to statistics of the International Cooperative Alliance there are 3 million cooperations in which 1000000000 people are united.
So as far as I am concerned we are heading in the right direction. Away from the greed and the ( big) money.
