Victoria, have you seen this TEdtalk by Dr.Amen? It opened my eyes to what some people are experiencing , when they’re behaving unacceptably cruel: https://youtu.be/esPRsT-lmw8?si=HiiDKtMJnqF5Xh3B

I’m not too sure about that spiral part, but I agree about the main statement of learning from our suffering. God is pure Love. When people do something not of Love, that is the best they know to deal with things at that moment. But it’s not who their true Self is within that has been covered over. In remembering and seeing that true Self within them, we find forgiveness for ourselves and others.

What I suffered through, I learned from. What I’ve atoned for, became a path to self-improvement. All that I have lived through has taught me what it means to live at all.

Dear God,

May I learn from what I’ve suffered through, that my suffering might end.

Amen. THANKS, MARIANNE, FOR THIS PRAYER FOR ATONEMENT THAT MY SUFFERING WILL END AND THAT I HAVE LEARNED WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE. GOD BLESS YOU.
