What if we had a day when women (and those supporting this effort) didn't go to work? And, how about no sex until Trump is out and we have a decent person leading the country! FOREST -- I thought the very same thing, MW. That perhaps much of the silence in opposition to the nightmare we're enduring is because a particular group or groups of ex-Trump officials and colleagues are secretly planning a comeback somewhere out of public view, fearing that leakage of any information may give king george pretext to not only botch their efforts, but subject them to his vengeful ways. I've felt from day one of Trump's second term that it was going to be Trump's Administration of Vengeance and nothing more. He warned us during his 2016 campaign that he can shoot anyone on 5th Avenue and get away with it. That if you're rich and famous, you can do whatever you want, as in grab women's privates. So, being indicted twice during his first term, followed by disastrous legal woes with the Trump Foundation, Trump University, the Stormy Daniels sex scandal, etc., and then publicly televised in courtrooms for the consequences of his behavior -- I'll bet none of that sat well with he who thinks of himself as being above the law. In fact, they may have set fire to his destroyed and fragile ego. So, it appears he made sure that he not only stay out of jail, but persecute his perceived enemies to the fullest extent of the power vested in him and however he wishes.
BACK TO THE FOREST -- nature's undeniable first principle is, of course, survival--the preservation of life. This is true of all living organisms, whether we're a one-celled amoeba or a human being. Our first instinct in any environment of threat is safety, protection for or preservation of oneself. Thus, the reminder about equal and opposite reaction, cause and effect, karma, etc. In other words, the same "preservation" mode that drove king george to administer vengeance must have an equal, but opposite reaction. And I seriously doubt 175+ million of us are going to collectively lie down and allow king george to have his way with us.
