MY THOUGHTS ON MOTHER'S DAY
I’m sorry to enter your inbox twice in one day, but I shared some thoughts on video about Mother’s Day and I want to send it along…
Many children in this country live in constant terror now that their mothers will be torn away. Unfortunately their fear is justified. The ICE raids now going on are traumatizing innocent men, women, and children who do not deserve this. The raids are helping no one and are harming millions.
Undocumented immigrants paid almost $100 Billion in taxes into the U.S. treasury last year. Their demonization and vilification by the current administration, plus the cruelty being perpetrated against them, is unacceptable to people of conscience.
May God forgive us, and may He show us what to do to stop the madness.
