Beautifully said Marianne! Completely on point. And you’re welcome to visit Canada anytime you need to rest and rejuvenate. You are doing hero work and that’s exhausting.

What a true essay. Mark Carney is the new leader of thre free world, and there are many good actions taking place in America because of the trauma we are all enduring: more connection, more community, more kindness, more actions that have begun because people do have a moral compass. Let's just hope that voter suppression won't hinder a massive change in the mid-terms. Marc Elias has confidence it won't.

Yes to more connection, community, kindness and morality. Yes to justice, peace, and liberation for all beings everywhere. But no: Mark Carney is not seeking any of this, unfortunately. I am canadian, and i pay close attention to what he actually does more than what he says (although that matters too). Carney is in lockstep with almost all of the systemmic forces that create destruction and division - his policies are pro-capitalist, anti-democratic, anti immigrant, colonial, and repressive. He might not like or be as nakedly aggressive as Trump, but that is as deep as it goes. Please, before exhalting this undeserving man, research what his government is doing in the realm of law-making.

Thank you for sharing your perspective as a Canadian. We all need to keep our eyes open in many directions. I have friends in Canada, Ontario specifically, who have expressed similar assessments of Carney.

OK . Best back to center and watching. Listening carefully. And honing discernment

Excellent essay. I like the basketball team/loss-of-star-player analogy. Having lived that situation, I can share that even before stepping from the bench to the court, back-up players experience a moment of shocked and sudden reckoning: 'can I?...will I?...gulp/I can and must'. Winning teams face that moment deliberately.

Yes! And I see that happening

Fabulous, Marianne. Thank you as always, and many blessings for your journeys❣️

I do hope many of us are continuing to do the global silent minute each evening at 9 PM Eastern 🙏🏼

I sure am. I should probably mention it more. Thanks. I will

Yes please . I had forgotten it and where you speak of it .

Thank you for mentioning that. I will set the alarm on my cell phone for 5:59 PM Pacific time.

We just finished year 9 of a 12 year cruise. Do we really believe JDV will lead us to glory in a multipolar world? Thank you for reminding us to stand in our power because we have to keep our core integrity even if our leaders don’t kniw what that is. Thank you for being on-planet!

As a Canadian watching Carney the central banker continue to curb free speech, continue to drive the country in astronomical debt; working to transition Canada into the globalist new world order, I see all these puppeticians as serving oligarchs interests and merely playing roles ; saying stuff to manage the building rage of we the people. I’ve wanted to be wrong about the rising undeniable totalitarianism since 2020 in the Western world, but the big club that we don’t belong to, has planning the war against humanity for a long time. I believe love prevails so all is well.

Dear Marianne; My name is Marilyne and I live in Canada. I did not know about this. So, perhaps things are indeed doing better than we thought; (and not just with “spiritual” people!!;) It is true that in all* fields, people need to come together at this time for the greater good. And a balance of strength and humility sounds great - I am glad that you are finding the positive in these times and informing your peers, fellow citizens and readers about this - I’ve also just read an article about the “rebirth” of America, which of course beautiful and wise people like you will be part and creators of. I personally Love* the U.S. as I have lived there to learn English in my teens but I know what you mean about sharing a more proportionate distribution of power. I also personally like to call it Love*** - With kind thanks, Marilyne XOX

Wow that’s a really good way of looking at things! That the other countries will be stronger as a result of US -as it is-and that’s a good thing

I really like the idea of someone else holding the ball while we’re benched. It provides hope while we take time out to get ourselves together. Great 👍🏾

Wow! Continuing with the basketball theme, the 'middle' players would be the 'bench' but it's filled with excellent players! Yay!!

Thank you, thank you Marianne!🙏🏼❤️I, too, have been traveling for almost 5 weeks through Australia and about to embark on another amazing journey through New Zealand! As I’ve traveled keeping my heart open I have found the love and support as an American who believes this country was founded on these words by Emma Lazarus guiding us as the light from the Statue of Liberty welcoming all….. “Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door! May these words ring into our hearts and souls… knowing one day these words will once again welcome a world and its people with open, loving arms! Sending all much , peace, justice and abundance of love!❤️🕯️☮️🕉️🙏🏼❤️
