Truth. Yes. Today, I had the thought that if enough of us meditate on ridding our country of the scourge of haters, then we'd be okay. We'd be free. But, no. This is not so. It is wrong-thinking. Rather, If we all meditate on love is weaving its tendrils through every nook and cranny of our existence, there would be no room for hate. Then we wouldn't have to purge. It would happen on its own. Proactive rather than reactive. It's what's needed now.

The problem is lack of political will to minimize our greenhouse gas emissions - emission that if not minimized will lead to increasingly unprecedented human suffering and death. Tenaciously spread this message. Tenaciously encourage others (individuals, organizations, businesses, governments) to minimize their greenhouse gas emissions - and minimize your own greenhouse gas emissions.

"Even the right thing done without love will only have temporary effects" captures genuine versus performed action generally. The visible behavior was never actually the variable that mattered most. What the action is infused with is, and two identical actions carrying different consciousness behind them produce different results downstream.
A glimpse at the summit was never the same thing as actually living there, and mistaking the glimpse for the achievement is probably the most common spiritual error there is. Insight arrives in an instant. Integration doesn't, and there's no substance or practice that skips the second part for you.
This is the new manifesto. It gets everything right. I wish I had power. I'd say that before a new Constitution, heed this call to become who we were meant to be.

Since the founding of the US, this nation has chosen fear over love.
The founders decision not to abolish slavery for the sake of the economy put us on the trajectory we experience today.
Still, I continue to choose love, even though often it is difficult.
Let us stare down that difficulty and keep choosing love, over and over. It is the ONLY way we can save any part of this Earth.
