The tide is beginning to turn … Trump’s poll numbers are sinking … He’s beginning to loose in court … and not many … but a couple of Republican members of congress are mustering the courage to say NO … but now’s not the time to back off … Now is the time to persevere … as Marianne says … keep posting … keep attending protests … and stay awake … this NOT the time to become complacent !!!
Participating in the May Day rally in Culver City on Thursday and THEN walking to my local Swing Left regional group after the rally, and also being involved with Stand Up For Racial Justice (www.surj.org) for the past 2 months (every single Wednesday from 5-6 PM PST feels empowering to my nervous system and my neshama (soul). And I’m beginning to repost all kinds of articles on my Facebook page that I want to amplify as well. Yep, this is NOT the time to back off; we’re just beginning. I have hope that the tide will turn for the better, but boy, is it going to take sustained effort.
I remember during the Harmonic Convergence in the 1980’s - that wild astronomical event - all the channeled entities were saying that this very moment that find ourselves in now could in fact be seen on the horizon. The horizon is here; we’re on it and in it. Looks like we’re meant to be here, eh? We’re part of the transformation of consciousness that must occur, if we have any chance of surviving as a species.
On a different but super related note (IMO): I would love, love, love to attend your workshop on 10/25/25, but alas, I am not only participating in a Bar Mitzvah ceremony in the morning; I have had a wedding ceremony on the books (aka my calendar) since last year. I do a lot of Life Cycle officiation work. I look forward to the time when I can sit and learn from you live and in person. Truly!!!
I ❤️ love your idea of conversing on social media in peaceful response to imbalanced or miss-directed or confused deluded angry posts.
Your words are strong and serious,
yet you are soooooooo calm !
Way cool ❤️ .
I don't think there's ever a situation that is :
"us" vs "them"
or
"me" vs "authority"
or
"me and family" vs "a heartfelt sane attack" .
Confusion can cause chaos and devastion and destruction, tho, and that's sadly real.
I mean, sure sometimes I'm afraid.
However there's no real hierarchy between living beings - knowing this helps me to feel safe when I'm scared, so that I don't become invasive or violent.
Yup,
its all about me being a non-complacent citizen of this country
I still believe in the 100th Monkey and Good is more powerful than Evil. And Gandhi says "all tyrants fall, eventually, think of it, all of them." But sheesh. Basta.
Here in Europe I still haven’t got over the way he treated Zelenski from the Ukraine , regardless of your opinion of the conflict ,there is a thing called diplomacy , it has torn down the very fabric of basic human decency , sure when the doors are shut then behave like a spoiled child , Im sure had Putin been there we would have seen a very different trump ,
I'm from Europe too - from France -, and I felt exactly the same way about the disastrous, infamous White House meeting with Zelensky. Trump is as dangerous in and to the US as he is to the rest of the world. This downright friendly relationship with Putin - and how about his special emissary Steve Witkoff, who repeats Kremlin propaganda word for word - is a disgrace to the free world. Not to mention, of course, views on Canada, Greenland, unconditional support for Netanyahu and the Israeli far right, the trade war, the end of USAID, the exit from climate agreements, environmental damage that will have repercussions across the globe... In short, chaos is setting in all over the world under this presidency, so we must all feel solidarity with what is happening to you, because it's happening to us too, to our whole human family. So we stand by you, and we fight and will fight peacefully for the same cause, wherever we are, for the rule of law, justice and peace. Good luck to us all!
Many people are moving out of the US, and many cannot afford to but if he keeps ignoring the Supreme Court’s decision and rulings — I’m leaving the US.
I do understand what you're going through, and I hope it doesn't come to that. In any case, in my country (France), universities have decided to open programs to welcome academics who are prevented from teaching in American universities. I'm happy about this solidarity, but I hope that the latter, like Harvard and others, will continue to stand up to this apprentice dictator, who like any good apprentice dictator... starts by attacking knowledge, history, the collective memory... before diligently attacking all other aspects of society, and the very possibility of democracy.
The majority voted for him or did not care if he won. I actually don't have anywhere to go. I have no power I just want a peaceful old age. What will I do when they take my Social security? I am 82, i may live another 10 years or starve and freeze in the next 4 years.
I hope you realize how many millions of us will do everything in our power to make sure you get your Social Security checks. Please do not worry. Americans will not stand for anything less.
America became great by embracing foreign-born geniuses from around the world.
¨H-1B: The Lifeline of American Innovation That Trump Tried to Choke For decades, the United States maintained its technological edge by doing something brutally effective: importing genius. From the labs of MIT to the campuses of Silicon Valley, the engines of American progress were powered by brilliant minds—many of whom arrived through a visa program that most Americans couldn't even define: the H-1B. This visa wasn't just paperwork; it was oxygen. It allowed the best scientists, engineers, and thinkers from around the globe to bring their brilliance to America. In return, the country received innovations, patents, billion-dollar startups, and the illusion that America was still the undisputed capital of human progress. And then came Trump. Fueled by a nationalist fantasy and cheered on by the red-hat brigade chanting “MAGA,” Trump began dismantling the very system that kept America relevant. With the finesse of a wrecking ball, he went after immigration policies not with surgical precision, but with the same subtlety he uses to spell “coffee.” He painted H-1B holders as job-stealers, not realizing—or perhaps not caring—that these "outsiders" were the ones keeping America’s innovation dream alive. Enter Michio Kaku. Five years ago, the theoretical physicist and science communicator extraordinaire warned of the consequences of this short-sighted policy. He didn’t scream. He didn’t rant. He simply laid out the inevitable: if America stops attracting the world’s best minds, it stops being the world’s best country. Kaku, a man whose intellect makes most politicians look like sentient potatoes, knew exactly what was at stake. He understood what many on Capitol Hill did not—that pragmatism, not paranoia, built American greatness. That IBM, Google, Tesla, and even NASA are filled with minds who didn’t grow up pledging allegiance to the Stars and Stripes—but who did more for the flag than most who did. Now, in the aftermath of Trump’s immigration tantrums, his trade wars, and his delusions of grandeur, Michio Kaku’s words have become a prophecy. Companies are relocating. Talents are choosing Canada, Germany, and even India over the U.S. And the “America First” doctrine has left America, ironically, in last place in the global innovation race. This isn’t just poetic justice. This is self-inflicted decline. Even Einstein, the quintessential genius who fled Nazi Germany, only came to America because it welcomed him when Europe didn’t. What would’ve happened if Roosevelt had told him, “Sorry, Albert, we’re full”? In rejecting the H-1B ethos, Trump didn’t just tighten the border—he amputated the very limb that held the torch of progress. And the irony? The same crowd that chants “we built this country” are the ones cheering while the builders are kicked out. So now, the same America that once stood as the beacon of intellect is issuing press releases about banning TikTok. The nation that once split the atom and put men on the moon now frets about social media apps and builds walls to keep out the minds that could’ve built the next space station. If that isn’t the slow death of a superpower, what is?¨
Grateful to you Marianne for your fierce truth telling, spiritual guidance, and political wisdom. At a moment such as this-I continue to turn to you.
You know, you would have made a great president or leader of the Democratic Party…. But you’re an absolutely outstanding revolution catalyst.

Thank you Marianne. I signed on to generalstrikeus.com this morning. I’m hoping it will be a peaceful and productive way to unite our voices. 🙏♥️

I've read your books and I love you Marianne, you're great.
This is a domestic terrorist attack.
The forgiveness and love goes on.

Esra- I love that France is doing this. What a great idea. 💡
they put him in power, so they got what they want, i am leaving the USA.

Yes it’s happening now. Like they say in the recovery community “the slip happens long before you pick up the first drink or drug “
