There is something that is more important than reading this article by Marianne..........

After reading it, sit with it. Sit with the goodness in your heart and FEEL how good it feels. And know that the same goodness that is at the core of your being, is at the core of every being. It is what we emanate from and what will always remain, even if EVERYTHING else is not there. This same core of goodness is within everyone, and it sings with you whenever you sing with it.

Sitting with this goodness is more powerful than anything else that you could choose to give your power to, because it is you. The Truth in everyone sings in gratitude to you......for just sitting with it. Allow yourself to be filled with joy and love for the Truth in every appearance.

Im not hearing a plan..

Yall need a plan...

Here are some plans:

1. Write letters to first time registered voters to explain the whys and hows of voting. Do this by going to https://votefwd.org/get-involved

2. Join a local canvassing group; go door to door in your local neighborhood (or beyond, if you want), to get out the vote. To find canvassing groups near you, visit https://swingleft.org/

These are the two organizations I’m super involved with. I’m not a leader; I’m a terrific busy worker bee. I don’t like chairing committees, but i’m the kind of person that, if you give me a job to do, I’ll do it. These two organizations that I’m sharing are awesome at giving people jobs to do.

@MarianneWilliamson is utterly correct: if we don’t do anything, nothing will get done. It’s up to each of us to do what we can to steer this fast-moving ship in a healthier direction.

The plan is... turn on "your" LIGHT. If millions and millions and millions of us turn on our light of truth, our light of hope, our light of peace, our light love... then one by one a supernova of luminescence will wake up this sick and sad sleeping world from this Trumpian nightmare and put We the People back on track to truly obtain the American Dream of life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness for us ALL. Dr King said... "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." Let your LOVE LIGHT shine, shine, shine... that is the plan.

True prayer truly works......The rest is spinning wheels. Plans happen when we are filled with desire. We need to do the work, but the real work is to put all of your effort into WANTING happiness and peace on earth. There are plenty of angels to do their part, when we do out part.....love one another as oneself. See NO ONE as a means to an earthly end. It is only everyone that we need, to be happy.

Being a cheerleader in Texas was a big deal. No doubt you performed at all the football games. I was in the marching band and we certainly did. I still remember my small town of 50,000 generating a crowd of 20,000 when the two high school teams played. I also remember your cheer well. Friday Night Lights indeed.

I totally agree with your analysis and pray that we will emerge from this lengthy darkness and turn towards the light that is all of us. We absolutely must change.

I’m having a hard time, believing that a vote is having the same power that I used to think it did. When I see the reality of money persuading our government to be bought off - then I feel like one vote is powerless against the influence of foreign money and the impact of a crooked out of alignment government. It’s my own internal war, but it still is an argument inside of me that needs to be find a peaceful conclusion because I no longer feel the need to vote.

Got to thinking on Dr. King and came across this bit. The man was brilliant. This 250, semiquincentenniel, quarter millennium, let's do as King does and rededicate ourselves to the bold promises of our founding yet unfulfilled. Equality, representative government, and justice for *all*!

"Simple logic made it painfully clear that if this centennial were to be meaningful, it must be observed not as a celebration, but rather as a commemoration of the one moment in the country’s history when a bold, brave start had been made, and a rededication to the obvious fact that urgent business was at hand – the resumption of that noble journey toward the goals reflected in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments."

Yes indeed bring on the LIGHT! For in the bright birthing light we discover truth and the promise of renewal, which will chase away the lies and fears that the darkness requires. "Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." – Victor Hugo "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." – Albus Dumbledore "One discovers the light in darkness; that is what darkness is for." – James Baldwin Marianne thanks for keeping the LIGHT on!!!
