The Trump ego storm has landed. I think it's important to have insight into the man, but for me, there's only so far I can go before I end up overindulging in my thinking and knowing nothing of any use. Spending too much time trying to work Trump out is like trying to punch smoke.
Ohhh honey…I hope you get some sleep 💤 soon. Like Marianne’s last article..Her Dad would say “don’t let these bastards get you down”☺️and it’s True🙏🏻Sending Peaceful 🕊️Angels’ to Overlight Your Night🌟🌟🌟that They😇😇😇May take You to a Wondrous Retreat✨✨✨in the Ethers! Love to You Dear🦌🦌🦌Be extra Gentle❤️🩹with Yourself during this turmoil and chaotic time on the planet💚💙💚💙🕊️🕊️🕊️😘😘😘
I don’t know what anything means was the ACIM lesson recently. I love how MW, passion in tact, maintains a curiosity and beginner’s mind in this essay. I don’t know how Mary Trump, DJT’s niece, stays sane with him in her head so much. She is a brilliant writer and historian though. Her “The Reckoning: Our Nation’s Trauma and Finding a Way to Heal” is a terrific look at our history of racism and exploitation. It is a competent to Heather Cox Richardson’s “How the South Won the Civil War”. I’d add that it keeps on winning with the help of global carpet baggers extraordinaire. No need to name names!
Thank you, MW, for the musings. Onward to day 24 of my third or fourth year of going through the ACIM Workbook Daily Lessons with you; my seventh year of going through the Daily Lessons. I am so grateful for them. Without ACIM, your interpretations, and intensive self-care I wouldn’t be loving a challenging new job and revitalizing the PACEsConnection.com
social network to prevent and heal trauma, promote positive childhood and community experiences that help prevent adult mental illness. Marianne - DJT was traumatized and is power-spewing collective trauma in ways that would have shredded me in 2016. Thanks to 7 years of ACIM workbook study, starting this third year now with you, and belonging to several amazing communities, meditation and prayer reading the news or listening via Substack (mostly) with God’s help I’m keeping the vibe high.
Appreciate you so much. Would love to talk soon re: your strategies and the role raising awareness of collective trauma, and working in communities with a brain-science supported ecosystem to support pregnant women and new mothers/caregivers, can and is making a difference. Thank you again. Agree with Hartmann and some others re: “shadow cabinet”. Could go a long way in making connections, building trust, establishing credibility, being ready for 2026 and beyond. Please contact me via Substack.
I believe this behavior should be outed repeatedly because it clearly has nothing to do with good governance. It diverts attention from content to process. 👎
I am glad if those instances didn't wound you in any way, but it reveals the shallow nature of both men when it comes to women. I don't join you in finding Trump's objectification of you funny in the least, let alone Billy Bush's answer to DT's hotness level question seemingly eliminating you from that category due to your age. As you know, all too often women are seen and treated like objects by men, especially powerful or influential men, and written off as invisible and treated as useless to them after a certain age.
Also, leveraging the use of his FL locale to force your attendance at that function reveals that his word means nothing, unless there is something in it for him. He couldn't even see going through with the event solely for the sick men who were planning to attend. One might suspect that he just wanted you there to create an opportunity for an "interaction" with you or to be able to brag to others how he was able to manipulate you into dropping everything just to salvage the event, without a thought to how it would impact your daughter, or the expected attendees.
As women, we have learned how to laugh off these types of affronts, and it is every woman's prerogative to handle it as she sees fit. However, to me, these are just additional ways DT has demonstrated both his sense of superiority over people, in general, and how important it is to him to retain the upper hand (no pun intended!) in all situations, but especially when it comes to women.
My first time writing. A Return to Love was gifted to me in the 90's. It changed my life. It taught me that I was truly lovable. I experienced a miracle and they haven't stopped coming since.
I am praying this:
Dear God, please bless us with Grace. Grace connects us in that very sacred and precious space. It's truly a beautiful place. Only love lives there.
Thank you for sharing those interesting bits. In 1970, I had the idea I wanted get into the University of Pennsylvania, so that I could earn a Wharton Business School degree. I made an appointment for an interview and drove all night from Buffalo to Philly for what turned out to be a very short meeting with a graduate student. This young man was so rude, so arrogant, and such an absolute jerk that I quickly realized I wanted no part of that place. In the past decade of the nauseating Trump era I've sometimes wondered if that could have been Trump who spoke to me. Of course, it wouldn't have been... he left in 1968 with his Wharton BS in Economics.
your recap of almost interactions reminds me of the night when my husband and I met Trump at a private music industry dinner honoring Clive Davis the night before the Grammy's in NYC...this was during the Marla Maples mistress days. Afterwards my husband wanted to go back to the hotel to wash off the "grease" he felt by interacting with this so full of himself individual. LOL

Thank you for sharing those intriguing incidents with your encounters with the Trumps! Yes - everyone has any many facets to their personalities. We are to love our enemies. Love one another. And I guess that can start with trying to understand where others are coming from. Thanks, Marianne!
Ah more pushing of division Marianne. Sounds like you definitely didn't let this go and move on. I wonder if you've both changed since that first encounter? (sarcasm). Unlike Dems to focus on identity politics to divide (more sarcasm). I think I may have heard a few good stories about both of you since this time in the past. I'm going to do lesson 26 today and see what it can teach me about this. I'm also going to continue to follow you despite the divisive rhetoric and negativity and see what else I can learn. Have a wonderful day.
Lesson 25 is a good one Marianne. Perhaps back to the basics?
My attack thoughts are attacking my invulnerability.
3 The idea for today introduces the thought that you always attack your- self first. If attack thoughts must en- tail the belief that you are vulnerable, their effect is to weaken you in your
Own eyes. Thus they have attacked your perception of yourself. And be- cause you believe in them, you can no longer believe in yourself. false im- age of yourself has come to take the place of what you are.
4 Practice with today's idea will help you to understand that vulnerability or invulnerability is the result of your own thoughts. Nothing except your thoughts can attack you. Nothing ex-
cept your thoughts can make you think you are vulnerable. “And nothing except your thoughts can prove to you this is not so.
Blessings Marianne🌹thanks for Sharing those stories. As you know…Storytelling is very Important. And yes (dang it)! Too bad you don’t have that tape. Oh well…we can read and tell the tape is still playing in your head🙏🏻how could it not be? Maybe there is a reason you don’t have it☝🏼a Reason far greater than We may know. I agree the more you know a person the better. I always say “you gotta know who you’re working with”. And I know you don’t need the external validation and we ALL know how Beautiful You Are…that is what “they” are Afraid of…Beautiful Souls💯🌹🌹😇😇like Yourself and all in this Community💚💛❤️Much Love and Gratitude 🙏🏻 from Detroit❄️❄️❄️

Don't over think it, it's very simple and obvious.
I can’t sleep well either….. I still believe that together we can make a positive difference…. Sending love and light to all!💕🕯️☮️🕉️🙏

Trying to punch smoke. Good one.

Nah, she’s old.” (I think I was about 50 when the tape was made.)

Trump is almost 80 years old.
I found your stories interesting, and revealing.
Especially the one about Marla Maples, who got what she worked for, and may have regretted it.
Trump’s M.O. has always been:
Attack, attack, attack
Admit nothing; deny everything
Claim victory.
(Thanks to his mentor Roy Cohn).
