Beautifully said, Marianne. Fury and heartbreak over what is happening. This country needs a unity consciousness movement. Like the Civil Rights Movement in the past, it is time for another great social movement. It

sounds impossible, but it’s not. It may be ambitious, but it’s not impossible. Dr. King was ambitious. Gandhi was ambitious.

We need a visual representation of what a unity consciousness movement could look like and what our society would look like if it were organized on interconnectedness rather than separation. I’ve written that visual representation. It’s a film and it’s time for it to be made. Please help me put in the right hands.

I am a student of ACIM because of you. I know there is no order of difficulty in miracles and I know there is NOTHING our holiness cannot do! It is time! Please have someone on your team contact me. Grateful for all you do.🙏

I absolutely agree Marianne AND there is a genocide happening in Gaza that is fully funded with our tax dollars. Where are your posts likening that to the holocaust and the Nazis? Your voice is needed. ❤️

I ran for the Democratic nomination as the only Ceasefire candidate. Many of those now complaining they don't hear from me enough on this issue were, at the time, supporting "Uncommitted" although all that was was a vote for Biden delegates. I have been speaking about this literally for years.https://marianne2024.com/israel-and-palestine/

Hi Marianne, I think maybe what Meg is referring to, is how desperately important it is to call this out for what it is. It’s a genocide, and to say that is a cry against brutal foreign policy. Israel and the United States are guilty of genocide. This is NOT a Jewish issue. The attempt by authorities to label any criticism of Israel (and the US) as “antisemitic” is an attempt to put the blame on us, instead of on them, where it belongs.

It is one thing to call for a cease-fire. And yes, I’ve been on your campaign the whole time, and was immensely grateful to you from the very start for doing that!!! ❤️ I voted for YOU, not “uncommitted.” But now we need to go a step further.

The unspeakable horror that is the Trump regime brings up exactly what you said MW, "heartbreak and fury"...We are about the same age so we can bear witness this is the worst our government has behaved in our lifetimes. Even worse than Viet Nam. The concentration camps trump is setting up, shipping immigrants back to third countries where it will be difficult to get due process, if at all, is only part of the evil.

Masked and hooded gunmen with no ID or badges in unmarked SUV's going into schools, churches, farms, Home Depot, disappearing innocent workers and children is truly pathetic. How can we not feel fury and rage? We have the heartbreak.

This is horrifying and how is it happening? How is it that these goons, hiding behind masks and body armor, are able to do this? Why aren't the police protecting the people? Why are so many people getting away with breaking the law? It keeps getting pointed out but nothing is happening to stop it. I guess these questions are no different than asking why is a man who has committed so many crimes himself not been impeached?

Both Congress and SCOTUS have given Trump what is in essence dictatorial power to do this. It's astonishing, horrifying, and tragic. But many people are trying to block what's happening. Each of us has to do whatever we can on any given day. Don't be silent. Use your voice, your platform, whatever resources you can muster to be part of the resistance. This story is far from over.

A saving grace is that things have become so oppressive that people don't need reminding or urging or informing. Everyone knows now, and it's not going down as yesterday's news. The value in how beyond awful things are is that while you add your beautiful voice as what you can do, it's getting everyone activated to do what they can do, which is the step that has been needed for massive change to occur.

I rarely cry, but this moves me to tears - https://x.com/BlueATLGeorgia/status/1909055333621788754 (41 seconds, photos of Andry Hernandez Romero, gay makeup artist from Venezuela, who came Legally, entering CECOT, for seemingly no reason besides tattoos ... of crowns, over the names of his parents ...)

Like so much in the cycles of reactions to situations that are out of hand (open, *unvetted* borders are out of hand, it is not racist to say that) ... when the pendulum swings it goes way too far. In this case, way, way too far.

I think we need to be open to the voices who have been correct on so much all along, who never trusted Trump *and also* never trusted "Biden", and saw and called out how horribly we were all lied to with COVID (and other things).

These folks got it right, neither side is trustworthy, they're both controlled by the same forces, but each "team" has different ways of authoritarian cruelty. And they both want us in digital prisons, they just use different paths to get the public to accept it -

https://tlavagabond.substack.com/p/ima-the-encroachment-of-the-bio-digital

When the left calls Trump supporters "maggots", and says that Trump voters deserve to die in floods ... it makes unity all the more difficult.

https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/big-not-beautiful-blame (not surprisingly, a doctor who posted that only "non-MAGA voters" should be safe from the floods, was the same doctor who tried to get medical licenses taken away from doctors who were successfully treating covid, showing compassion for the vaccine injured, and - correctly - warning against the shots that Democrats were pushing so hard that that surely cost them the election. There's reasons why some people won't stop mentioning COVID. A reckoning has to happen, the wound was too huge.

https://www.brokentruth.tv/p/shots-heard-alumnus-dr-christina

I don't mean to be critical of only the left ... This article is so true, about some Trump supporters being pathologically loyal and unable to see the inhumanity of what's happening now, especially with ICE targeting innocent people. (There's a lot before the paywall)

https://markcrispinmiller.substack.com/p/trump-adoration-syndrome-better-than-trump-derangement-syndrome

Mark Crispin Miller (unlike the NY Times and other media who pushed vaccines and covered for "Biden"), earned the credibility to be saying these things. He comes from the progressive left, was exiled after speaking up early on COVID and was right all along.

Also, when some Trump supporters are so loyal and believing what he and this "good guys" (they think) gov't says, like it's only violent criminals being locked up, and reflexively can't believe that there is one word of truth covered by mainstream media, it makes unity all the more difficult.

(After especially COVID / "safe and effective", but also Russiagate and so many, so many lies, it's understandable to assume 100% of mainstream media coverage are lies. They have no credibility and will never get it back. Which is, for the media, deserved - but it's also tragic for the people like Andry and others who are imprisoned for no reason, sent to countries they've never been to, and grabbed off the streets to add to the numbers. When the media reports this, it doesn't change many minds.

The same media that gaslit parents about children dying while playing sports is reporting that this person is innocent and was targeted by ICE. Those jaded by years of media lies assume they're leaving something out - sometimes they are leaving things out - like how politicians' descriptions of MacArthur Park are the opposite of reality.

https://chrisbray.substack.com/p/this-is-not-politics-and-it-perfectly

Those years of gaslighting created a mechanism where it's natural to assume they're Always leaving things out/ inverting reality. That especially sucks for the truly innocent people who are targeted by ICE, defended by the ACLU, and their stories told by Rolling Stone, etc, etc.)

The most honest, beyond-partisan journalists, who never trusted the mainstream media and made honest careers from trying to explain how information is weaponized, are the ones most able to, with compassion, help people who trusted Trump see that he doesn't deserve trust. (His own actions are helping that along, too).

The same media who pretended Joe Biden was "sharp as a tack" for Years after it was Obvious To Anyone there was nobody home in his mind (years), may be getting some things right now. But no one will listen who doesn't already trust them. At least not without a serious, deep reckoning, about how much they lied, about Biden, many things, and especially COVID -

COVID is the story that diagnoses the system, as Dr Bret Weinstein says (a voice of reason and wisdom, who used honest science to figure things out and has a way better track record than everyone who called him crazy and wrong)

The horrors happening now are taking place on the streets, at workplaces, by masked agents with large guns. And in brutal concentration camps (the accurate term), where a photojournalist return with images that are shown on 60 Minutes.

*Please don't misunderstand - I'm not excusing those things. I'm not minimizing them.*

But in context, there were profound horrors during the last administration, that took place inside peoples' bodies after they became disabled from being *forced to "choose" injection or income - and only those with enough money in reserve could actually choose. Everything Democrats say about protecting the vulnerable rings empty until this is reckoned with.

The same media now covering abuses by ICE, etc Mocked The Vaccine Injured. They Mocked the film "Sound of Freedom", about trafficking of Pre-Pubescent Children. They mocked people who went to see the film. They mocked the COVID doctors.

Yet still, the journalists with the most integrity and solid track records, like Derrick Broze, James Corbett, Last American Vagabond, etc., don't dismiss everything said in the mainstream media automatically, they sift through with due diligence, reminding that it's not where something is found, but if it's true that matters. Sometimes the media mentions in a limited way, things they've been saying for years.

https://derrickbroze.substack.com/p/no-kings-protesters-in-houston-tx - Derrick interviews No Kings protesters, with respect and curiosity and finds common ground. This is rare among those who saw through the media's bullshit from everything from Russiagate to "safe and effective" to "sharp as a tack" to "34 felonies!" to Jan 6th.

The selective empathy - on Both Sides - is astounding. Yet the individuals suffering are real. The fear you describe of immigrant and migrant families is real, the pain of being locked in a dungeon with no violent crime committed is real, and also the pain of the vaccine injured, and the little children being raped right now who were transported through open boarders to unvetted sponsors, is real also.

https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/context-catastrophes-and-selective

Unity needs seeing all this as real, not just what one "team" considers valid.

Horrors during the last administration took place when government employees, who were multiply injected, otherwise fired, became literally a child trafficking delivery service. When whistleblowers spoke out, they were fired.

In this context, please have compassion for those who made a different calculation and voted differently. https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/note-for-liberals-and-progressives

(Note for liberals and progressives who assume every Trump voter sided against the vulnerable)

(Thanks for reading ... meant with love, and a, perhaps clumsy, attempt to build bridges ... )

THANK YOU, MW for articulating the fury and heartbreak that some of us are feeling. While I am beside myself with grief and fury over this atrocity, I am REALLY hoping the Democrats in Congress are looking into some of Trump's biggest supporters -- those private prison companies who are benefiting from the Republican tax cut. Trump, the deal maker, obviously came through for them. THE QUOTA: So, how did these Trump supporters come up with a quota of 3,000 detainees a day? That's roughly 1,080,000 detainees annually. I can infer that Trump's supporters planned for a significant boost to their bottom line, which in part may explain why Trump had the bipartisan border deal killed prior to the 2024 elections. A CNN report reveals an annual projection of $450 million to house detainees at the Alligator Alcatraz facility, or approximately $410,959.00 per day, based on a 3,000 per day detainee quota.

It was reported that Stephen Miller was quite unhappy that ICE has not been meeting the 3,000 a day detainee quota. He also recently disclosed over $100K of stock in Palantir, the shady data firm ICE uses to target immigrants. Palantir is run by Peter Thiel.

ICE attorney Adam Boyd recently resigned, according to The Atlantic. His reasoning was he had to "make a moral decision." Boyd indicated ICE is targeting families, asylum seekers and long-time residents--not just criminals. We all know the overwhelming number of detainees are non-offenders, citizen and non-citizen alike. So, Democrats seriously need to look into this and do something NOW, if not already.

Everything that is happening is a prod, a mirror, asking us, Do you really wish to live this way? Is this acceptable? Do you see yourself in these actions? For most of us the answer is NO!

We are being asked to participate in a revolution of hearts. Can we learn to look into each other's eyes, to see and to respond to the inner person, not the nationality, or the political designation, or the physical appearance, or any other outward thing. Can we agree that compassion, ethics, honor, and integrity are qualities that we expect in all those who serve in positions of public leadership, service and public safety in every level from local to national? And if so, do We, The People, not have an obligation to speak out, to make plain our insistence that leaders and those in positions intended to inform and protect the public, or to uphold our laws and our freedoms do so with honor, ethics, compassion, and integrity? When we are divided by fear, by our differences, our voices lack the force to ring with conviction. When we come together with hearts and spirits joined to accomplish change, change happens.

We are America, One multi-cultural, diverse nation, invested in human dignity, human excellence, freedom to express our individual talents and inspirations without causing harm to others, and committing to justice and fairness for All. It's time to re-define the American vision for these times so that we can finally create One Peaceful Prosperous Nation, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.
