Please remember individuals that will be spending this day alone, eating alone what ever they prorate for themselves. Those that have been excluded because they me be friends or neighbors but not family. Those that are divorced, widowed, separated from loved ones for any reason. It's time to be more inclusive of the uncoupled in holiday celebrations.

Dear beloved Marianne✨ so appreciate and love you. I so welcomed reading the Thanksgiving Dinner practical spiritual lesson. As always your words have a miraculous way of nurturing our souls and hearts. I, too “respect and honor our connection.” May you and your loved ones be blessed now and all days ahead🙏

PS: just loved the visual of mama and papa “sharing” the wishbone at the Thanksgiving table …a picture IS worth a thousand words

Share love not fear. Really, politics at Thanksgiving? Perhaps I'm grateful that politics, religion and how much I make are not worth sharing.

Honestly speaking, there are some other ares of my life where I would benefit from a similar approach. Places where blasting the room with love before I enter the space could do a lot to dispel any negativity judgment or hostility I may be facing.

It was important for me to see you post this again, as I have sometimes felt that you abandoned it when campaigning for the American Presidency. But I've seen and heard you say it so many times that I know this quote from MLK means a LOT to you:

"You have very little morally persuasive power with people who can feel your underlying contempt.” Thank you for the reminder, and for your commitment to ACIM.

I have an ongoing policy to never discount differing political views. It all started in 1972, when I was on a small fishing trawler with someone who advocated the return of slavery. The mutual friend, whose father owned the boat, pointed out that words which cannot be followed up by actions make poor targets for animosity.
