Lately, I've been having a lot of Phil Ochs flashbacks... keeping this beautiful song playing in my head:

Not Just Epstein.

Jack Smith's explosive testimony, the fact that the House is about to reverse two of his vetoes, and every GOP is running scared because the midterms look terrible for them.

There will be more like this before there is less of them.

There was a movie about this called "Wag the Dog." But it was supposed to be silly at the time.

I feel vulnerable, the order of law seems to have disappeared. The administrative state in many Western countries is taking away rights and freedoms and criminalizing dissent.

I think Maduro was arrested for breaking the law. But the real reason we took him out was to get China, Russia, and Iran out of Venezuela.

Trump wants to appear decisive and strong, and in the short run this ruse might work for his most devoted followers. The rest of us see through it to the confused, mentally ill, morally bankrupt Mafia and Nazi adjacent man currently sitting atop a pile of stink in Washington. I hope and pray this is the beginning of his end.

Dear Mother, Father, Sister, Brother,God

We need your reason, we need your strength, we need your courage. There is a path forward for each of us that will bring us headlong to exactly what we need to be doing right now. There are no mistakes in your universe so when we have our fearful moments we will be bouyed up knowing we are on your chosen path. Each of us, in our own way. Universe, show us your miracles today. And so it is. Amen

I’m amazed at all the damage that is being done by one man and his administration. The damage to US , really the globe.

The potential danger this puts us in. I’m outraged that anyone thinks they can just do whatever they want. It’s incredulous, they use the word judicious or say this is about drugs, no it’s not, it’s about power and money. Oh the consequences of this.

I'm reminded of Jackson Browne's song "Lives in the Balance":

I want to know who the men in the shadows are

I want to hear somebody asking them Why

They can be counted on to tell us who our enemies are

But they're never the ones to fight or to die

The whole song is well worth the listen. Originally released in 1986. Not much seems to have changed.

MW- Keep shining the light into the dark recesses. Thanks 🙏

I view the overall arc of GeoPolitics from an economic perspective and it foresees many dark clouds ahead. Ray Dalio has illuminated this path forward for all to see.

THE SHOCK DOCTRINE - The Rise of Disaster Capitalism. 1:18:37

If you don't have time now, just watch at least the first few minutes where we can see the CIA teaching torture methods... Yes the CIA, United States american citizens. I am speaking to you who did that: Shame on you!

¨The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism is a 2007 book by the Canadian author and social activist Naomi Klein. In the book, Klein argues that neoliberal free market policies (as advocated by the economist Milton Friedman) have risen to prominence in some developed countries because of a deliberate strategy of "shock therapy". This centers on the exploitation of national crises to push through controversial policies while citizens are too emotionally and physically distracted by disasters or upheavals to mount an effective resistance. The book suggests that some man-made events, such as the Iraq War, were undertaken with the intention of pushing through such unpopular policies in their wake. Some reviewers criticized the book for making what they viewed as simplifications of political phenomena, while others lauded it as a compelling and important work.¨

Just watch the first few minutes to see how horrible it is.
