Loved the piece and agree with you. Some change is coming but not sure if fast enough. There are many other BS sayings out there like "you can't teach old dog new tricks", which I think is BS and that people want to evolve at all ages, at least I do, and we should encourage that in others.
Your linked doc was a interesting read. I think it might need a few more distilling iterations, to reach that critical point of successfully converting outgroup people to the paradigm. Also - just my opinion - but I think any new paradigm will need to harness the dynamism of dumb competition (ambition, acquisition) in a way that's positive, scalable and simpatico to outliers (often antisocial, disagreeable tendencies). Hope that makes sense.
Universal intelligence is the focal point, the teacher in the room who needs to be listened to. This need for a new way of existance and change is so obvious that many see right through it, like this invisible veil of stagnation offers a false and dangerous sense of comforting complacency. I have lost some of my hope at this point in time, yet not my trust that the universe knows what it is doing. What is to come, will come. And those of us capable of being the catalysts will continue to keep our fires burning. If we run out of fuel, yes, change will be thrust upon us. It is that simple. I oddly take comfort even in that and this is a new change within myself. I hear you loud and clear Ms. Marianne Williamson. I have been listening and hearing you clearly for a long, long time. Thank you for sharing and bringing to a point what the universe is beggin us to hear....and change. We are all swimming up stream and the current is getting stronger, yet we are still trying and this at the end of the day is what counts. God helps those who help themselves......
Thank you for your brilliant work, Marianne. I noticed the quote included in this piece attributed to Anais Nin. Several years ago, I researched the source of the quotation, looking to find exactly where Anais Nin had written it. My search ultimately took me to the site of Elizabeth Appell, who appears to be the author of the quote. https://readelizabeth.com/anais-nin-and-i-are-in-lock-step/. Appell also used to have posted on her site a photo of the original document (a 1979 university newsletter) containing the poem, which seemed to authenticate her story. I noticed that BrainyQuote also attributes the poem to Appell. FWIW. Thank you, again.
Marianne, you are so spot on with this. Humanity’s made up world lives on the basis of politics, religion and money…all made up. This move away from actuality is stripping us of actual love and actual gratitude. Are we at a point in human evolution where we are dividing like the cells of a disease into truth seekers and make believe? Which will emerge from the cocoon as the evolved human species vs the shell left behind?
I have a short piece on this, but too much to post the whole thing here.
You ask good questions. I think Mother Earth is, perhaps, using the pandemic as a wake-up call for humans. People think we're out of the woods with Covid--I think not. The next variant identified is even more lethal, based on the latest science reports, and more infectious than Omicron. Its just a matter of weeks.
Meanwhile, the last two years are showing the world our inequities. I think it's good. Eventually, even Putin will be proven wrong since we are all one--not just Ukraine with Russia! So sad. Perhaps, our best bet now for survival is taking Nature seriously and we have not for the past few centuries. Let's hope Homo sapiens quest to help with the climate emergency comes soon or fold up the tent. It's that essential--it's do what's right or die for the following generations, including the millenials and Zgeneration for certain. We can no longer waste time scrounging for wealth.
If I may add a few related thoughts to this fine essay. According to yogi lore our species is evolving from animal natures to enlightened, loving natures, directed by our spirit self instead of our animal instincts. Different people are at different points in tis process. The pure predator and the saint are at opposite ends of the process. We need the spiritually oriented people to fortify their spirituality by attuning to the spiritual realm, and to subdue the predators in the material world. Different techniques will be needed for different predator personalities.

Unfortunately , the ills of capitalism is profit over everything else . On the flip side , capitalism encourages innovation and exploration . We , as a society , must refuse to be limited by corporations that prefer we be sick and locked up as well as be forced to yield to unrealistic standards where our creativity and health are sacrificed in the name of profit . Strength in numbers people .. courage over fear . Unfortunately , not everyone can work for themselves

Introducing a new paradigm for social change (https://app.box.com/s/rxas4kxbd8510uo84tbboc2zfty379zm) shows innovative ways to act on this.

The challenge for me is maintaining an attitude of love while exposed to all the divisive hate in society.

Such a powerful message. We can change, if only to realize how to move forward through prayer and faith into our transformation.
All in for changing to be my most loving! Thank you, dear Marianne! ❤
Beautiful! Here is my article about flying off to other planets. https://pasadenaweekly.com/jeff-bezos-space-exploration-and-the-demise-of-our-planet/
