Marianne, your second paragraph describes 'the ego.' On this subject of learning through wisdom or pain I am immediately reminded of something you wrote in 'Tears to Triumph'. You will never know how much this and other things you wrote helped me in a very bleak period back in 2020. Thank you so much -
“Your tears, your hopelessness, your fear, your anger, your guilt, your resentment, your remorse, your terror – none of these will be papered over or denied. You will not dissolve them by keeping them in the dark, but by exposing them to the light. And as you do, you will actually bless the journey of your suffering, for it led you to yourself and to the meaning of your life. Spiritual healing doesn’t lie in denying your pain, but in feeling it fully and surrendering it to God… And then the miracles begin.”
Also, I am reminded of a man I know with an abundance of planets in the Scorpio house of his astrology chart (I have two, Marianne has one, and both mine directly align with hers). He said "We who have strong Scorpio energy volunteer for pain because pain is our best teacher. It is our best path to Wisdom." I have found that to be true in my life as well. Pain drives me into the deep waters of the soul, where all the good stuff comes up from the depths to heal me, and lead me back to the surface of life. When I breach it... the Stars are there to guide me.
I hope the Stars are shining brightly for you today, Phil.
Dear God, all things are possible with You. Send your Light into our hearts and minds, that we may be ready for Marianne. We love her and trust that her wise leadership can bring renewal and healing to our country. May it be so.
The country may be more ready for you than you think. People may fall for a charlatan, like Donald Trump, or a delusional overthinker, like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., or they may stay the course with Joe Biden. Then again, as the Two Stooges and the Grand Old Man keep on with their half-measures and missteps, the awakened (not "woke", awakened) will come to the conclusion that you would have been the best choice for the presidency.
Unfortunately, America has not evolved enough to be ready for you as president Marianne. Or any woman, for that matter. I agree we are going to learn the slow, hard way when it could have been much less painful. And we may not be here to see all the good that comes. I’m learning to surrender my impatience and frustration. And so grateful to you for being out there, holding the light.
Well I'm ready and I will temper my fear and rage with the LOVE you share with us. There is global chaos but we'll listen to your gentle and wise guidance to strengthen our resolve not to be bitter. We're just walking each other home.
“So often over the last year people would say to me, ‘The country is just not ready for you yet.’ And I would think to myself, ‘What a pity.’”
There are consequences to belief … What we believe creates reality in our lives, our relationships and in our world … If you want to see change, believe not only that change is possible … but that it has already happened …
Like the consciousness of our highest nature, I AM Possible rather than the believing that change for the greater good is impossible! We forward in these generations backed by the full faith and credit of life itinual
Yes, I too thought that the world (not just the US) wasn't ready for you. And I could't agree more with you: what a pity:( Such a wonderful opportunity. Thank you for everything!
Marianne, this level of communicating on consciousness and natural, cultural reality about what is and will be taking place is, in my opinion, your deepest call, gift and contribution to the American experience at this time. Wind to your fire.
So often over the last year people would say to me, “The country is just not ready for you yet.” And I would think to myself, “What a pity.” Yes, Marianne, it is a pity that this country is not yet ready for you yet, but it will be. You will persevere and become our next president, God willing.
I am so grateful for you speaking out and your courage to publicly speak the message of the return to love. I know I’m not alone in saying that message literally changed my life in miraculous ways, particularly when I thought all was lost to me. So too when the terror that democracy may be lost - I find hope when I listen to you. Thank you so much Marianne.
One last thing I will share with you, before I finish my break/fast of silence with you, and get to bed. Over the last year, I have come to see that love is not a pedestal. It's a compass. In real love, the parties involved don't always agree. Sometimes their disagreements are uncomfortable. Sometimes there are breaks in the connection. But in the end, if there is any element of soul love in a relationship, the compass points toward some form of reconciliation. A re-balancing of energies. Toward peace. **God's peace.
The energies I'm gonna take from my experience of your talk last Tuesday are these:
"Did I meditate today (check, yes, and I did it with the local Zen center this morning) and... who have I not forgiven?" Maybe that's you, for me, sometimes. Maybe that will be me, for you, at another time. One thing I do know... that compass has never led me astray.
But I do have to meditate, and I do have to understand why, and how to forgive.
You have a good night, and if you are able to see it, a Good Eclipse tomorrow.
Some people say forgiveness is hard. That it takes time. That it's a process, not an event.
In my own personal experience I think living in chronic unforgiveness is what's not easy. That is hell on Earth.
Why should I forgive the perpetrator who never apologized and destroyed our family, toppling everyone in it?
Why should I let him off the hook? Because if I don't I am forever on the hook; of resentment, bitterness, perpetual patterns of pain, betrayal, sorrow; disappintment, depression, loneliness,
But if I give him to God and forgive him for the atrocities he committed (knowing that he himself was in hell from God only knows what happened to him as a child) if I can give him to God for safekeeping then I don't have to carry the burden any longer.
I can wish him well on the other side with his own soul repair and healing, thank him for the good he was able to give us despite his afflictions, and no longer carry the burden of his shadow upon my shoulders.
And once I've made the decision to do that, I get to live in Heaven on Earth. Hmmmm... seems like a Win:Win!
I just realized that when I would say I was "working on forgiveness" toward my father, really that's not what I was doing.
What I was actually doing was working on cultivating my resentments and feeding all the reasons why I didn't want to forgive.
I was justifying my identity as a hurt, abused, traumatized person. HE did that to ME!
That and three bucks will get you on the subway but it won't get you anywhere worth traveling to. That pain train won't get me to the Heaven on Earth I seek. Just more subway stops in hell.
I really appreciate this comment. Living in constant judgment against other people is truly living in hell. There is no hell worse than "Poor me, look what they did to me, look what they took from me."
I say forgiveness is hard because the Ego makes defenses like judgment, projection, shame, blame and guilt uniquely and **cleverly attractive.
Even people who are very familiar with the teaching of ACIM can fall into this trap from time to time. It works until they see that they are the ones doing all this stuff to themselves. The Universe is always moving in a self-correcting direction. If we look for the corrections, we can find our way out of our pain.
There's no need for "pity". Pity is just a dime store version of compassion, and the world needs way more of the second than the first. So does this country.
Ah well, I disagree that people didn't know you were running. You were platformed on Fox New several times. People who listen to podcasts and read socials know who you are and that you were running. People knew. Anyone can learn about your history. They have cell phones, computers. Bookshelves. Wikipedia. They can learn anything they like.
They can listen to what you say, and use their own brains to make up their minds.
As for razzing, well Yes. There have been days when I was really frustrated with you as a political figure. but my appreciation for your spiritual work always brings me back to one truth. You're a damn good teacher of ACIM. It's what made you who you are to me.
It is not disingenuous for me to say that to you, not at all.

Spoken from a hard hit Scorpio ♏️
This is an extraordinary, and beautiful statement.
I hope the suffering of that time has been lifted from you.
Overwhelmed by the response to my comment. Thank you to all of Marianne's beautiful supporters! And thank you Marianne!😊
Thank you for the post

Yes 😢. What a pity❤️
It truly is a pity. And that is, unfortunately for our world, a drastic understatement. Thank you for your persistence.
Agree, what a pity 😢 humanity requires a wise leader at the helm, always, and your are that.

Remembering our great future and no couldas wouldas or shouldas!!! Hope is a thing with feathers that perches on the soul…

Love you Marianne, and so appreciate hearing your voice in the morning meditations each day. It certainly looks like we’ll have to learn the hard way.

So. I guess I'm breaking my fast of silence with you. At least for now.
I am glad to see that Phil Mason has found such solace in your public writing. I have too. <3
But the above statement from you? Sigh. Please. Most Americans just don't see you as their POTUS.
That does NOT mean your opinions, your talents and your spiritual work have no value in our country.
I am still contemplating something I heard you say on your most recent Tuesday Live Stream.
"Have you meditated today, and who have you not forgiven?"
I'm working harder on the meditate part. Really.
The forgiving will take more work, as you well know.
Forgiveness is never easy, but it is the only path out of chronic interpersonal suffering.

PS, Looking into your page I see that you are a supporter of RFK Jr.
He's an interesting, complicated man. But one I do not support for POTUS.
