Marianne, it is most certainly NOT unspiritual or unkind to speak out loudly against this horrible cult leader and his (often just unknowing) followers. You must continue to speak out against his inhumane and morally corrupt policies of hatred and bigotry. I would ask his supporters who call themselves "Christians" to consider their belief in the "Anti-Christ". It is ironic that those who claim to believe that he is coming, follow this man with such vigor and adoration. This is, in fact, a part of the prophecy, that believers will be decieved by his speeches and supposed magnetism. This is not just political differences. It is a matter of basic human morality and our country is being tested.

Ridiculous. How can you call yourself a spiritual being and judge Trump as the "Anti Christ"

I have not labeled anyone as the "Anti Christ". I am referring to the belief that many of his followers have in this prophecy and the fact that they are not recognizing this one whom they consider to be "sent by God" as having the exact traits described. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Marianne, it sounds like some of your readers are suffering from spiritual bypassing. One must recognize and name the truth in order to show compassion. It is not low-vibrational. If one ignores suffering and those who cause it, then one is complicit in the needless suffering of others. Jesus did not practice spiritual bypassing. His form of compassion was love PLUS justice.

If anyone is saying it is "low vibration" or any other such silliness, if we stand up to trump and criticize him...well...then they too are trump supporters methinks!! If we don't stand up to his malignant narcissistic grandiosity and outright LIES about everything he and his sycophant MINIONS have done and are doing to our nation...then the darkness wins...and the LIGHT fades. It is NOT low vibration to speak against this Anathema we have to call our president. It is simply the TRUTH!!!

I do the Course daily. I try to keep in my lane and out of politics. With the culture we live in it’s nearly impossible to keep in forgiveness. And/but it feels important to head up to DC, 3/14, and take my place, my voice heard, support the turn to justice. I have a choice. That choice is for “Superman”: Truth, Justice and the American Way- A Course in Miracles never asks us to withdraw from the world. It asks us to change how we see the world. I am not going to DC to fight enemies or fix a broken world — I am going to stand as a light bearer, representing the truth that beneath all illusions of division, there is shared humanity, shared divinity, and shared love.

I think you've got The Course exactly right, and I thank you for your words. LMK while you are going on March 14th? This is a sincere question.

There is an event?

Describe please.

Marianne, thank you for the gift of your words. I’m really struggling though in regard to ‘no one gets to be right.’ I’m soo angry inside about the way American democracy is being gutted, how people are being treated (immigrants, federal workers, now social security, the list is endless). I don’t understand how any of this is ‘right’. Or moral or decent or LOVE. If you could shed some light on that or refer me to some other writing that might come to mind about this. Thank you.

I hope watching the shows I linked are helpful to you. In the article I point out that we all get to have our opinion and express it openly. This is a painful time for a lot of us, but I think we can grow from it immensely. And the midterms will be here next year. We need to get involved, in our own communities, districts and states.

Hi Marianne,

I don't like Trump and see most of what he does as "low vibration". AND I see that "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is certainly a thing too!

I view this as a powerful threshold time. A lot is coming undone and not going to be able to "go back". It's like COVID. There was never any "normal" to go back to. Once somethings are crossed there is only forward. Trump's MAGA true believers were not the majority that got him elected. And at the other end of the spectrum there are folks so identified with their "progressive" values that they're lacking the independent self-reflection to see what the Democratic Party turned into. In between these poles is a middle majority that needs all the examples of deep and wide creative free thinkers it can get! Thank you Marianne for putting in the work to be such a person. I see you getting caught and I also see you working hard to get unstuck. Thank you.

Rachel Maddow of MSNBC did a great fact-checking piece after Trump's speech calling out all the lies and disinformation. Trump uses disingenuous rhetoric to try to convince people to believe information which has little basis in reality.

And please remember, Trump’s misleading statements are coming from a man who has filed bankruptcy SIX times!

You are doing a great job and the right thing, Marianne. Please keep it up!

Your holding Trump accountable and calling out his lies is “low vibration?” This is some toxic interpretation of spirituality right here. Is charisma “high vibration” if it’s being used by a narcissist? Nothing is black and white. INTENTION is the only thing that matters when it comes to vibration. Charisma can be used to connect and it can be used to deceive. Anger can be used to abuse and it can be used to PROTECT what is sacred. Criticizing Trump is indeed a righteous thing to do.

This feels like a bizarre gaslighting session. "Neither of us gets to be right," as though there are two different, valid truths? There are not. The truth is that he lied through almost the entire speech. It was filled with vitriol unbecoming of a world leader. An elected official was expelled from the room for speaking up while just a year ago Marjorie Taylor Greene and Loren Boebert did far worse and were tolerated. This man is rapidly dismantling our system of self-governance and we are to play nice with the cult members who rabidly accept every lie with no attempt at critical thinking? He used complete fabrications to support indefensible positions. I don't understand this post at all. Are you capitulating because you fear the dictatorship is inevitable?

Johnny, are you serious? Absolutely that's not what I'm saying. I meant we all get to have our opinions about him. I hope you'll listen to my show on RISING today. I'm hardly someone who hasn't stood up to him...I remember doing so, as a. matter of fact, when you kept telling me I shouldn't.

I haven't told anyone not to stand up to him, ever. You have me confused with someone else, or misunderstood some prior conversation. Your statement here was "Neither of us gets to be right." I said I didn't understand how you could say that in this instance, and why. I was confused about how you could say that. Those of us who oppose him ARE right. His cult IS wrong. It's not an opinion. There is exhaustive factual evidence. They're entitled to their opinion. Flat earthers, for example, are free to be delusional about whatever they want. It doesn't change the fact that the world is a sphere, however badly they wish it wasn't. MAGA lies must be called out as dangerous at every turn while we still can.

Thanks, Marianne. My knee-jerk reaction to that one line was extreme. It just triggered a lot of emotion around how I see people peddling competing narratives as valid. As if we can pick and choose what's actually true. I think that's very dangerous. There's a difference between being open-minded and using discernment. I'm honestly emotionally raw right now and easily set off. I'm not proud of it. But that's where I'm at. Carry on with love.
