Absolutely.....Hang in there....It is a long way to November and much can happen. The Dems have lost their way. The Republicans never found it.

"Love" is a foreign concept to them, MW. So is the word "peace," which has been banished from Washington, DC.

Dear Marianne, have you ever read any books by Joe Dispenza? He shares a way to change the world and explains that matter to matter doesn't work. Similar to what Einstein mentions. The change has to come from a mystical source now through meditation, intention, and actions of a coherent heart and brain, etc. Dear one, please please interview him and see about his walks for peace and how he measures the energies of the planet when we all walk for peace, with love! yes... You are wonderful...love you a million zillion loves and more...

On Valentine's Day, love yourself for your courage & efforts. You are living a life of wise, right action. You may not live to see the fruition of your efforts, but be grateful & loving to yourself for "doing the right thing" in the face of so many obstacles/challenges. Love you

By running for President you created an opportunity for change - giving people a vision of what they can create and democracy can deliver. That possibility is awake and thriving whether you're still running or not.

Marianne, I agree with your analysis/take...and have going back to the 1970's...as have most, if not all, progressives of our generation. A Roosevelt Democrat like Humbert Humphrey would be considered a leftie by today's "standards" as would RFK (Senior). Dennis Kucinich was a beautiful voice in the wilderness, who was gerrymandered to political death. Paul Wellstone had a great shot at the presidency before his plane mysteriously crashed. I remember giving my local Democratic club in Bergenfield NJ a presentation on why they should support Gerry Brown in that primary........and then there is, of course, the way Bernie Sanders was totally screwed over by a de facto corrupt Democratic establishment. Your own exquisitely brilliant campaign creatively incorporated many of the best elements and ideas of all of the above in harmony with your own individuality...and we all saw that you got the Bernie treatment...cubed, as you didin't start out as a Senator.

Having said all of that, I am glad you ran, and that (in a way) you are still running with your ideas, values, heart and a spirit of love made pragmatically manifest.

Again, I agree with your general take...but will still vote for any Democrat on the ballot against any Trump Republican on the ballot in November. With all of his baggage (I still cannot forgive him for the abysmal sexist way he presided over the Hill/Thomas hearings) he will do less harm to our potential for a survivable future than Trump.

Some simplistically label pragmatic strategy as making a choice between the "lesser of two evils"...but if that "standard" were to be generally applied, we would only ever choose the *perferct* as anything less could always be cynically framed as "the lesser of two evils". Ergo, "let not the perfect be the enemy of the good". (But, alas....what happens when the good is not good eough to avoid the likely extinction of humanity and potentially and end to all life on Earth (as we know it)? A runaway greenhouse has that potential.

Apologies for going on and on thinking out loud...I will write in your name (if it's not on the primary ballot) in New Jersey as a gesture. Everything matters. Nothing real is ever wasted. I do believe in the general principle of Homeopathy that (at least at times) quantitatively tiny doses can have enormously disproportionate qualitative effects on the whole. (And yes.....it's all more complicated ; )

Bottom lines:

Thank you so much for your courageous campaign. I greatly enjoyed walking with the Williamson folks in that massive pro environment event a few months back in NYC. It was inspiring to see so many young people there. Of course, the commercial mass media virtually ignored the massive event...kind of like they bent over backwards to ignore your campaign. There still remains no doubt in my mind that yur message, if it could have rreached the whole of the electorate, would have resulted in your "impossible dream" being made manifest as what you are offering is truly what the vast majority of people deeply desire. Getting that message out in spite of the commercial media black out, would have taken at least a few billion dollars...oops. there I go with "could, shoulda woulda" lol.

Stay strong and live in love!

Thanks for continuing to educate We the People. Thank you for the perseverance and reverence you have given to heal our nation. It is all our turn, right now. Perhaps people like the Kardashians can help share your wisdom ( not to single them out but they seem to be an example). I pray that the people of influence are enlightened by your words. Please continue to speak. you are a channel of hope and enlightenment! You have trudged the road and have been a great leader to so many (me for sure!). The organization (Alumni In Recovery) I founded based on raising awareness about addiction, about the opioid epidemic, is not an easy path - but I learned a lot from you and speaking up on what is true - Like the women's suffragette movement -70 years in getting the right to vote passed, the abolitionists, there is a need for our bravery to take a stand in humanitarian responsibility. I can always do more for sure. I may not see results in my lifetime, but I can be like that butterfly flapping its wings - changing the winds in the North Pole.

I feel your frustration. It really looks like if this isn't the very signs of the the End of Times, I don't know what is? The Bad have become Deplorable,. They have managed to fill all the highest ranks in every institution with their own and now have control over most everything. They make all the rules to perpetuate their very existence. So anyone who wants to have a stress free lifestyle either goes along with them or suffers.

Is it even possible to bring these people down?

From what I read in Man's History.... It certainly don't seem so! The two longest battles against them were with the American Indian and the Black race. Both races are still the greatest threat to their existence and that is why they exert such deployable acts against them.!

Both employed a Spiritual last effort at the end .... The Indians with their Sun Dance and the Black Race with the MLK Dream. Both evoked their God, their Creator to assist them in their final battle. It was than that their enemy lowered the hammer. Killing all Hope of any success. So it seems to me that any acts of Spiritually is the only thing that they fear. Any thing that might bring Hope or the people together is something they know will harm them. That I believe is what must happen. Rev William Barber is presently trying to unite the Poor People to come together to vote out these people....40 % of the poor don't vote,!

The indigenous people are always standing up for Water Rights issues.... We should be working with them..If we all came together on this... I feel something could be done

And what's going on in Gaza is just plain murder...... if our politicians won't call them out as War Criminals than we should be in the halls of Congress with Code Pink who don't have no problem spreading the Truth in that Matter. I just feel that is how Good works thru is and that is what must be done.

Poor, Marianne, sounding angry & bitter. Then why aren't you working for a Constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United? Why aren't you focused on how little most Americans know about the people they choose to vote for? Why do most Americans choose who to vote for based upon 30-second false/misleading TV advertisements? That TV advertising takes a lot of money!! How can Dems even compete with the deep pockets of Repubs? Look at K Porter and B Lee trying to run for CA Senate w/o corporate funding against Adam Schiff, who is flush with corporate PAC donations. When, if ever, will you start to call out the REAL problem? --- Americans are not engaged in or informed about their democracy. They do not pay attention to what's going on. They don't investigate the positions or voting records of those running for office. Look at pre-voting polls, where up to 20% remain "undecided" the day b4 an election. Seriously, do they decide based on whether they got out of bed on the left or right side? Plus, how many decide who to vote for by a label (R or D), like deciding which sports team to support.

Until Americans start taking democracy seriously, pay attention, engage & educate themselves, take responsibility for the future policies advocated by people they vote for, someone like Marianne Williamson cannot just pop onto the scene and transform the country. The people have to WANT it. It is THEIR choice. But it takes a somewhat intelligent, well-informed populace to have and maintain self-governance (democracy). In my opinion, USA isn't up to the task.

Marianne, re-think where you are pointing fingers and placing blame.

Poor Marilyn... not seeing the bigger picture. WHY do you think ALL of these things are happening?? You're going to blame the people?? Have you looked at a focus group of 'committed' voters lately?? Have you listened to a seasoned campaign advisor about how people vote and why?? It's scary and extremely enlightening to watch and listen to all of them.

If you can't see that all of these absolutely valid issues you mention... are the result of the capture of our entire economic, political, social systems... by the corporatocracy that rules just about every single aspect of our lives ... then i don't even know what else to say.

Marianne is merely the messenger... don't shoot her.

It's True, they have turned America into a 'gated community'! 'Money' is what separates those whom get to live there from those who cannot. Capitalism sells the idea that with Money all things are possible. Without it you are the Deplorable Poor, the uneducated losers. Capitalism needs a 'Pecking Order to survive! They need you to believe you are nothing without money. Even ,are once 'good intentioned progressive politicians are now crying for 'money' so they don't lose their standing in the Land of Oz they now live in. Like the people of this country, they forgot that 'Inside' themselves they already possess what is needed to Free themselves from these Evil Wizards. Like the Strawman, the Tinman and the Lion who were looking for strength, wisdom and love... No amount of money can buy these things. All God's Children already possess them. It's only a matter of awakening to the fact that you can use them against those that want to keep you enslaved in their wicked kingdom.

What I believe is necessary is a MOVEMENT like was in the 70's...

a Visually.. In their Face reminder to them that We are out there and We see them for What they Are.

I was there.. Back than... Long hair, Military Jacket, Bright Eyes filled with passion and Love for the Common Man....I could see in their eyes they Hated Me... But I also saw they Feared Me as well... And It Was Good......
