That's essentially what Ram Dass once said "Namaste" really means, an affirmation of non-separation: "I honor the place within you where if you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."
Is there really "only one of us," or are we three? i feel that there is a Third Presence with us who hears, sees, feels, loves and cares for us. For all of us, not just for the ones our programmed selves care for. To salute the love in others from a place of love in me is honoring this Third Presence—humanity's Divine Lover. Namaste, Marianne, you invited a powerful practice! Indeed "an aspect of creating Heaven on Earth," Mary, thank you, sounds right.
The love “in me” IS me, who I Am. So, I salute you my fellow Creator Being.

I do it all the time to people who are unkind to me. It’s the only thing that helps.
