Could we do the same thing by accepting the advice of bipartisan leaders proposing a period of service to country after high school under military control? Thanks for starting this much needed conversation. What a timely and thorough analysis of the psychospiritual crisis that has the USA in a chokehold. Reparations, repentance and repair are the only ways forwards but there have to be massive efforts at re-education too, to awaken people to the truth of their history and shift mindsets beyond the politics of division.
