FREE ONLINE EVENT ON EASTER SUNDAY
What's the psychological meaning of crucifixion and resurrection?
Dear friends,
A Course in Miracles is not a religion. It’s a “psychological mind training” that reverses a thought system based on fear and replaces it with a thought system based on love. It uses traditional Christian terminology but in decidedly nontraditional, psychotherapeutic ways.
The words crucifixion and resurrection are examples.
From a metaphysical perspective, crucifixion is a word that describes the power of fear to destroy us. Resurrection describes how love saves us from the grips of fear, in our lives and in our world. In that sense, according to A Course in Miracles, resurrection is a return to our right mind.
I will be discussing the metaphysics of Easter on the holiday this year. Please join me on Sunday, April 5, at 3 PM ET / 12PM PT for a free online talk in which I will discuss the resurrection of the modern mind.
Holiness means wholeness, and the world today is clearly broken. We make it whole by healing our minds.
I hope you’ll join me online for a deeper inquiry into the overcoming of the world, the role of Jesus as an internal Teacher, and the meaning of salvation when the only thing to be saved from is the fear-based thinking that dominates the world.
Wishing you peace and blessings,
Marianne
