I have enjoyed all of the segments so far in TRANSFORM - but this particular one really struck me. I love the title "In the Age of the Worldly Mystic". I love that the segment's go back and forth between the reality of the world we live in and the powers of our spiritual practice. It is like a dance, and it provides the balance we need to be able to see the whole picture. I like this line in your article today: "I hadn’t yet realized that the only way to be truly happy is to achieve a state of consciousness that hovers above the suffering of the world, not in denial of that suffering but as a method of transforming it". Is this like that saying to 'be in the world but not of it' ? Or when you say 'You can't see the forest for the trees'. When you rise above, you see are able to see the whole situation - you can see the forest for the trees. I am also really enjoying the ACIM references here very much - those words are timeless and powerful. Thank you 🙏❤

"...it is possible to remain very much awake to the suffering of the world and to seek happiness at the same time." Thank you. I needed this today. I clearly need to strike a better balance if I'm ever to become "useful" in this great transformation.
