Thank you - this definition of the journey to enlightenment perfectly describes what can be a very difficult concept to describe. Now I have words that resonate with me, and I can quote when talking to others. It's similar to explaining what "spirituality" is to someone who asks, who is unfamiliar with what it is - can be hard to do!

"The journey of enlightenment is a journey of the mind: from a focus on the body to a focus on spirit, from a limited sense of self to an unlimited sense of Self, from a sense of separateness to a sense of unity with all things, from blame to blessing, and from fear to love."

As David Hawkins wrote in his seminal book, Power vs Force, he channeled a table describing our fluctuating, evolutionary journeys. At the top of the scale is Enlightenment, which he describes as ineffable, incapable of being put into words. Through Marianne’s teaching it is now effable.
