Thank u. That was one of the strongest teachings I got from my mom: be your own best friend...& I am (along with my beloved son).

Thank u, also, for the Zoom last night. I got a lot of gold nuggets out of that... anxious to reread my notes this morn but do recall (paraphrased) “seeing that u r here at a gathering like this, we can assume u r a caring & involved person—& in regard to navigatigating these heavy times—keep doing what u have been doing....but amp it up.” —i couldn’t agree more....do a little, or alot, more ...but with Love, not fear. One thing i did was pay for a year subscription to your Substack so i can make sure to be as Spiritually equipped to ...Yes, keep on being my own best friend, & not only survive but thrive, but also hopefully be a Light to others so they remember they are a Light to others.

I’ve been under your tutelage a long time Marianne. I am so grateful for your presence in my life & on this planet. There are so many people & things to be grateful for...let’s be sure to amp up our Gratitude too...& I am starting right here...with Marianne Williamson and A Course in Miracles...may we all rise above the battleground In our Oneness with Spirit and always focus on and Praise the Light & Love. 🙏Amen!

This meditation reminded me of this video. Less than five minutes, but so powerful:

As a young woman - I use to beat myself up. Through counseling I learned to befriend myself and be kind to myself. Beautiful words, Marianne! 💖

This really comes home to me. So much truth in this. And what a relief when we befriend ourselves. Thank you Marianne. I'm going to see if the zoom was recorded.

So much in here. One of my aunts will say to me,”Would you say that to anybody else?” or, “Would you say that to a friend?” when I say something that is comparatively mild, like

“I am so stupid!“ This meditation feels very gentle and tender. Thank you.

Self acceptance was a big lesson in my life and learning not to label myself, as in call myself names, made it a lot easier. Thank you for the reminder Marianne. I live alone with my dog and in a new town with all the current restrictions on meeting people. I have to be my a friend to me or I could not survive and thrive. I feel very blessed.

This is so lovely, Marianne. I remember some of the words I was telling myself when growing up, looking back, I was a real bully (to myself)!
