I do find it interesting and sad that you choose to focus on a certain political wing without looking holistically at our country's problems. The last thing we need is more tribalism.

On Bill Maher you acted surprised by Justin Trudeau and how his actions and words towards the trucker convoys. However if you'd been paying attention you would have known how corrupted he was by his world economic forum ties and his membership in the wef global leaders.

If you'd been paying attention to the incredibly divisive and insane double standards during the summer of 2020 around BLM rioting, antifa, and the absolute corruption and insanity of our media, you would have spoken of these things courageously. Yet you choose to focus on the "right wing" rather than incredible elitist corruption our entire establishment, and the globalists behind so many of our problems.

So either you are not aware of what's really happening or you are simply stuck in an echo chamber. I'm going to assume it's not just virtue signaling. Either way it's so disappointing and I feel like it's just one more failed leader who I used to have hope could make a real difference

It's astonishing to suggest that Marianne doesn't know what's really happening or is stuck in an echo chamber. What she's highlighting is a very real and present danger to our republic, which can hardly be classed a democracy at this point -- if it ever really was. Marianne spends much of her time speaking about the corruption of institutions and our corporate-owned Congress. I can only conclude that anyone who takes offense at her concern over the growth of armed white nationalists with insurrectionist agendas in the US must be in sympathy with them. Why else would there be such objection to this interview?

I too appreciate Marianne's speaking out against the corruption of our politicians, press, and corporations. But then sometimes she accepts their story hook, line, and sinker, without even addressing the considerable evidence that this is just another giant batch of lies for another oligarchy plundering operation. She appears to assume that suddenly all these liars became moral truth tellers ??? Maybe some lies are too dangerous to contradict. Marianne was smeared (falsely) as a flakey ditz in the 2020 primaries. Tulsi Gabbard was smeared then (and now) as a traitor. Understandably, that may be too risky a step for some.

Typical "liberal" elitist response. Rather than present an actual response to anything I said, you ascribe some kind of guilt to me personally.

I was a registered democrat my entire life, until i saw in the last 2 years that the globalist elite had completely captured the u.s. democratic party, the media, and the tech companies. That kind of conglomerate is called fascism, and it is a far more dangerous cocktail than anything on the right wing. And yet the tribalism and anti trumpism on the left has hypnotized 90% of the liberals as they walk us towards totalitarianism

Expand full comment

I wasn't ascribing anything to you personally. I raised a question. I'm hardly a liberal. I think Joe Biden will go down as one of the worst presidents in American history. In fact, I think the deterioration of the Democratic Party got underway full-steam ahead with Bill and Hill Clinton.

Who holds the power in the world today

Who pushed covid lockdowns even after it was apparent that they did nothing except destroy society?

What party were the tech companies serving when they censored any and all dissenting voices?

Who was the party of "racial justice" as we watched our cities looted and burned, where it was okay to go destroy a small business but not go to a park with your kids?

And when Justin Trudeau basically declared martial law against a peaceful protest, even enabling private Banks to seize and turn over private citizens funds, what power was he serving?

And now as the world economic forum globalists like Klaus Schwab move as fast as they can to have their underlings create Central Bank digital currencies so they can reset and control all of our financial transactions and institute a social credit system (so we can own nothing, be happy, and be forced to eat insect burgers), isn't it interesting that this is all coming from the "left" side of the political spectrum (you know, the compassionate ones who just want equity)

So if you think the hillbillies

with small arms are the real threat, I'm sorry but you are worse than useless.

This is why I'm so disappointed by Marianne right now.

I am glad to have listened to this podcast. So much needs to change. The AMERICAN ideal still has not been realized. It has spiritual principles that WE have yet to fulfill. PEOPLE are being asked to change and evolve. YES, there is reason to be disgruntled about our country. We have no real leaders and our country is no longer a republic. It is a corporation run by money and the elite. Us regular folk have no say any more. The word freedom is bought by money not morality. " We the people" have been lied to, undermined, taxed to the hilt and the only representation we have is a BIG GAP between the haves and have nots. Look at the homeless situation and you know the Government is not working for the people and our voices are not heard. You saw this in your running for President because the media gave you little voice Marianne. There is a rogue government now. There is an agenda and we the people are not a part of that agenda.

I'm so confused. What has happened to you Marianne. I would have thought you would be leading a new earth. People are deeply troubled .... that's your lane. Well you took the jab so maybe that explains it. I'm disillusioned. I still watch your Tuesday Livestream and you are a different person now. Very tragic because we need you to lead us out of the mess. I don't identify with guns and war but you cannot deny that millions of people are struggling with what is happening in our world right now. Dear God I am willing to see this differently.

What has happened to your compassion and insights into the suffering of all human beings. I know you understand what is going on and yet you appear or pretend to be oblivious. The establishment needs to crumble because it is no longer serving the people and has not for a very long time. I learned this from you. So now all of a sudden when people are in emotional pain, challenged by what appears to be totalitarianism coming down the pipe, and the loss of all human rights, you are silent. I'm sad, I feel like I've lost my beacon of light which was you. I've introduced people to you and now I feel I've misguided them. Namaste! I hold a glimmer of hope that you have some amazing insight that I don't see yet.

Thank you for this - I too read Stephen Marche’s essay, and found myself unable to refute his conclusions. I’m grateful to have this deeper dive into his research.

Thats the corporate media's function to install fear, wrong beliefs in place of knowledge and to divide and conquer. Dem vs rep is just another political ideology. As is the medias liberal and left vs right. All nonsense. The corp media's mind programming is definitely something that needs to be addressed, their currency is lies. We need to become aware of it.

This is part of the shift from fear to love.

I do not live in the U.S. and so most of this was a bit of a surprise to me. I sat back and watched Marianne and Stephen with an open mind. I thought you were brilliant Marianne, I can't understand the personal criticism. My only real thought was to recall the lesson from ACIM - "There is nothing to fear." We need to promote 'A Course in Miracles' which is a Course in right minded thinking.

Jimmy Carter has told us truthfully that we are not longer living in a democracy, but under an oligarchy. This is why the American middle class is being hollowed out. They are the ones who shipped all the jobs overseas. They are the ones who have been engineering the large influx of cheap labor. These phenomena have frightened many middle class and former middle class Americans. And Trump pointed directly as these phenomena in 2016 when no other politicians were.

I have talked with Trump supporters who were very concerned about this pattern who were absolutely not racial supremacists or even race identitarians. It is the case, however, that racial supremacists or even race identitarians were also concerned about this trend for BOTH the economic reasons AND their growing racial discomfort. But the ROOT of this problem is not racism.

Despite different views on race and religion, these people by and large see America as under attack by an oligarchy that is destroying the country - which it is. They see the corporate media as controlled by this oligarchy and lying to the public - which it is. And they see establishment politicians, both Democrat and Republican, as puppets of this oligarchy - which they are.

They are more willing to talk about the MASSIVE amounts of suppressed evidence in the JFK and 9/11 cases, which gets them sneered at as "conspiracy nuts". Many on the left are equally aware of the mountains of evidence the oligarchy has suppressed, but are less willing to risk their public reputations.

In fact, those cases and numerous others deserve to broken wide open as part of a Great Housecleaning. A short, easy to understand case is the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. The official autopsy by respected forensic pathologist Thomas Noguchi and his team found conclusively that RFK was killed by a bullet to the BACK of the head fired from a distance of no more than 3 inches (there was gun powder residue in the hair around the would). The man convicted of the crime, Sirhan Sirhan, was at all times SEVERAL FEET IN FRONT of Kennedy. The autopsy findings were withheld from the jury by the court appointed defense attorney, and from the American public by the oligarchy-controlld "free" press.

Due to the oligarchy, much of our picture of our history and current events are essentially a fantasy the oligarchy wants us to believe. They want us to believe we are a democracy, nobly fighting abroad for democracy. In reality, we are unwitting servants of an oligarchy, fighting ignobly abroad for the predatory purposes of that oligarchy.

Some people to think there could be a populist movement to get rid of the oligarchy that would include both left and right populists. Other differences would be deferred for later discussion, when the oligarchy would no longer be fanning the flames of racial and religious divisions. Then we could at least have sane discussions.

Some background information on the oligarchy, including some of its major activities and origins, is in

I appreciate some of your comments but I don’t think I see the world in black-and-white terms, as you seem to suggest. The fact that I’m talking about one thing at a particular time doesn’t mean that I don’t understand that other issues are at play. I don’t think the oligarchy cares either way which party is in power, so great is its influence upon them both.

I don't believe you see the world in black & white simplicity. And I agree that pragmatically we need to focus on one topic at a time. And I'm glad to hear your view on the oligarchy.

Growing up in the Deep South and inheriting its powerful mythos and social conditioning, I want to thank you Marianne, for bringing before the public the truth of what we are facing. I'm a historian immersed in the horrific ugliness of Jim Crow law enforcement, which I liken to the Klan's day job. By ignoring the unhealed wounds of slavery and Jim Crow, regimes that were maintained through the omnipresent threat of lethal violence and an ideology of dehumanization, we have essentially guaranteed the resurgence of these very real and active evil forces. I live in SC where, nearly 7 years after Dylann Roof's assassinations of 9 African Americans in their own church, our GOP, Trump-adoring legislature has still not passed a hate crimes bill. The Senate Majority Leader actually said recently that he fears such a law will be used against people who believe in only two genders, which is an admission that trans people are legitimate targets of hate, and for that reason, he will not bring it for a vote. Other GOP members say the federal hate crimes bill is enough. (SC and Wyoming, where Mathew Shepard was lynched for being gay, are the only two states without a state hate crimes law.) At the same time, SC has just perfected the firing squad as an alternative to the electric chair for death row inmates (disproportionately African American) whose executions have been stalled because the lethal drugs aren't available. (Death row inmates must be offered a choice of execution method.) We've all seen the snarling visage of Lindsey Graham long enough to know that we're looking at something pathological and I argue that he is a product of South Carolina's rancid heritage of racism and demagoguery. I know many white people here who have talked and prepared for "race war" by loading up on weapons for decades. Unless you have lived in such a culture of hate as this and witnessed vile, soul-crushing racism as I have, it might be hard to imagine that what has gone on in the South forever has spread throughout America. As people of good conscience we must come together to find our way out of this looming nightmare. Again, I'm indebted to you Marianne for extending your teachings on peace and spirituality to mobilize right-minded people to action.

Thank you for doing this most important interview, Marianne. Damn i dont want all this to be true but… paraphrasing near the end, the power lies in the hope that knowledge brings.

I so want to only continue my own personal goals but this annoying attempted coup is ….sighhh…a fork in the road i know i must take with open eyes and unswerving Faith in love-fueled action.

I’ve been giving more $ than i should …but what good will a tiny bit if $ do me if I'm living in a fascist society?

The root of the problem is “separation” and i pray my mind be healed of my own dis-ease of “them v. us” but also i pray for guidance re: right action for me…& the Biden administration. Personally, i have my ideas of what “should be done” but I pray instead that God’s Will be done…& I believe in miracles, keeping in mind the freak storm in DC in 1812 that pushed back the Brits and allowed America to progress.

Yes, i will try to see where I can make my small actions most effective …while firmly knowing miracles can and do happen.

? To me this seems like being upset because a fire alarm wakes me up. If there’s a fire, that’s an awful realization, but without the external alarm and my own realization, I can’t save myself and those I love.

He was concerned about lethal threats, able to laugh at what is funny, courageous enough to point out - against our hopeful complacency - that what we think is absurd has already happened. We’re there.

Last month I was saying to the Trump-coup supporting neighbor across the street, “Jeff, you realize that we’re going to be firing at each other across this street, yes? Where’s the offramp to that outcome? And will you take it if it appears? And will I?”

Jeff and I still swap grapefruit and tomatoes, not bullets and bombs, even though he’s a fascist - and he really is! - but without a deathly serious understanding of where we are, I don’t know how long our fruit-truce can hold out.

No I did not. A few years ago I realized that if we're willing to listen, we are guided in the directions that enable us to maintain a sense of inner peace and even joy. I listen to and respect that inner direction. In this case I was directed away from this man. I can't and don't say what's right for anyone else. I just know, in spite of what's going on around me, I can keep it from affecting me for too long, if I choose this inner peace above everything else. I wish you well in your endeavors.
