The Declaration of Independence is America’s mission statement. Like all mission statements, it reminds us of our purpose. The Declaration articulates our national vision, and as it says in the Bible, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
It’s worth revisiting our American First Principles. Let’s revisit them, embrace them, and teach them diligently to our children. They are a gift we were given by those who lived before us, and our gift to pass on to those who will come after.
