Indeed an assault of the nervous system. Ive been exhausted since Nov 2016 and I dont even live in USA anymore. It is so sad to watch the dismantling but it's scarier to see there is very little any one body, or collective mass, is doing for powerful change. There is no undoing, or going back, going forward means a Revolution needs to occur. Let's not fear what the revolutionaries of the 60s wanted for Americans back then.
This is beautiful, Marianne. It kind of reminds me of Jimmy Carter's speech when he asked us all to take personal responsibility in the energy crisis. Who am I to judge? But at the same time keep my eyes wide open, the lights turned on with a sober mind and see everything not just what I choose to see… which includes my own dark spaces which creates fear within sometimes-i do not wish to run from. Faith sustains me.
