Life will leave its mark on us, no matter what.

The choice we have is how we wear it.

Aging is an extraordinary process whereby you become the person you always should have been.

Mind boggling, heartbreaking, with hope in between the glimmer of the people along with perhaps Congress can break this cycle.

Beautiful tribute. But let’s be honest—if democracy is just voting every four years, it’s already dead on arrival. What Daley Harris shows is that citizenship is a practice, not a pastime. You don’t “have” democracy. You make it, the same way you make a soul. Attention, persistence, and the courage to annoy power until it flinches.

We can pray, give assistance to those who need it. We can share. We can teach. We can write letters and call co dress and SC. We can boycott. We can recommend books describing the evil of Trump. We can use civil disobedience. We cannot change our votes to a party not corrupt. We cannot do a list of 47 sins next to Jesus’ commands. We cannot share our income, lower our unfair profits, keep strict rules for SC, Congress, and executive or Fire/ impeach them and indict them. We must teach children that 47 is a crook. We must teach children that a middle class that’s vibrant to maintain democracy. It is essential that our military men ( like my father) gave their all and 47 takes our all.

Best interview I have watched this week. Both very knowledgeable, humble and also very loyal to the people!! We were told those adjectives could not go with politics.

Thank you Marianne and Sam for everything shared, and for the links to this opportunities.

Love and Blessings.

The 1970s became a turning point away from civics to seeking profits pushed hard initially by our national Chamber of Commerce to the corporate community countrywide and it took hold--impacting families too across our country.

I was raised in the Upper Midwest where it was a tradition to volunteer when one cared about a cause that would create something good or even better. When I lived in Austin, Texas, in the 2005-07, people were actually surprised when they asked me what I did and I would often mention volunteer work! It was like they didn't think anything is worthy unless one is getting a transactonal compensation of sorts!

We must boost our right-brains and get back to collaborating on love and truth as Marianne so well explains. It was helpful to hear Sam Harris share his experiences and insights. Thanks Marianne for broadcasting your interview with him.

In terms of "political guerilla warfare," the best best best podcast I have ever listened to was with this one with Srdja Popovic (instrumental in ousting Milosevic). Marianne, if you haven't already (I may have missed it), you would L.O.V.E. talking to this man! Love. I think it's the only podcast I've ever listened to twice, and I think I actually heard it 3x. Brilliant, creative, inspiring, ACTIONABLE. https://www.humanetech.com/podcast/laughing-at-power-a-troublemakers-guide-to-changing-tech
