Just finished the conversation and I’ve got to say: it’s refreshing to hear someone talk about love, betrayal, and awakening without pretending it all comes with a neat little bow and candlelight soundtrack.
When love goes wrong, it doesn’t just break your heart—it breaks the illusion. And that rupture? That’s fertile ground. Sometimes the sociopath is the guru you didn’t ask for, but got anyway. They excavate the false self by force.
Looking forward to reading The Love Thief. Sounds like spiritual alchemy with a splash of drama. Right up my ashram aisle.
As a 'recovering' male 'love' addict, (not sex addict), I want validation. From my childhood, as a middle child, I desired more attention from my family, especially mother. Most of my long term relationships (two marriages plus) were with older women, who either initiated our dating, or we were mutually attracted. Now, as a senior, I easily charm women with my romantism - poetry, dancing, singing, joking. Plus I am intelligent, and spiritual. I long for companionship, that's authentic. I don't enjoy being gas lighted, and judged with prejudice. I am really triggered by women who project their past traumas on to me. I am not a thief. I give my heart, and don't take another's by deceit. So... eat, touch, sing, love, pray and die. "Seventy hues of shadow, rainbows, and gold, and counting.' is a title of my life's book.
Right there with ya brother! Been single for so long, idk if I even know how to start a relationship anymore. And I’ll add soooo much has changed in the last ten yrs w dating and all things so it’s a whole new ballgame altogether. Ugh…
When you’re a nice guy, pple always think you have some agenda. Add to that, I’m looking for someone who has done a good deal of their own work, shadow, childhood, all of it.not perfection and not done but has invested into their own spiritual & soul growth and has a good grasp on who they are etc. And also hasn’t been jabbed in the past 5 years. So when you add in all that, it’s just as slim pickings for us guys. But I remain faithful and receptive to the universe Bringing me that love at a level I’ve never experienced and I know it will all be on divine timing as all things are. Meanwhile, I’ll just keeping working on myself for that is never ending, even after we cross that veil! The soul never stops wanting to grow! ❤️ Blessings to all, I hope each of us finds that which we seek and love beyond our wildest imaginations. 🙏🏼🐾
👍🏼 noticed we are both “retired” natural healers. I mostly focused on homeopathy and esp for animals, but it’s universal for all beings, including plants, soil, trees, water etc nice to meet another so like minded! 🙏🏼🐾
So many vulnerable truths in this interview. Thank you for sharing. I’m looking forward to reading “The Love Thief” and will be happy to feature it under New Releases in my upcoming newsletter.
Thank you Marianne and Arielle for this great conversation! I just preordered the book and I am now looking forward to dive in, even before its adaptation on screens. I live in France so I wasn't eligible for the "win a trip to India" but who knows... If I am supposed to go there, God will find a way :)
Thank you for your great communication, with sharing Arielle's book, really sounds worthwhile as a story to enjoy. Will look forward to a TV series. Am 87 years old and still learning
Marianne, thank you for this interview. It was so interesting. I just forwarded it to my daughter. I'm wondering if this applies to her. There are certainly a few similarities in Holly's story and hers. I was shocked by that statistic on sociopaths!
Sounds like a fun book! Just pre-ordered an Audible copy since I get 12 books a year there in my membership. (Entered the sweepstakes for the India trip, too.)🫰
Enjoyed your conversation about the book and life experience regarding Love Thief, thank you! You and your guest recommended a book about the widow and the bas*ard she wants to kill? Would you be willing to share the title/author? And thanks again for the recommendation of what looks to be a good summer read!

Yip. Such gurus are always ( ahem) fun.
Enjoyed the conversation. Knowing the novel comes from the various experiences over decades made me want to read the book.

It's New Age garbage
It would be interesting to hear more about your experiences in romantic love, Marrianne.
